SCARBOROUGH, ONTARIO, CANADA? Nobody is saying where the restaurant is located. Mr. Content Creator, please include the details of WHERE and the NAME of the restaurant.
As a Brit, I thought this comment was about Scarborough , England, presumably where this towns name derives from. Scarborough in the UK is a seaside town that serves very good fish and chips haha 😂
@@InstaNoodls In the UK, many fish and chip places also serve a curry sauce on the side. It is quite mild, and sometimes a little fruity and nothing like curry in Indian restaurants. It goes very well with the chips. Another thing missing here is the classic mushy peas - for me, it makes a fish and chip dinner complete.
The haddock looks legit but everything else is Americanised. They're having it with what looks like either mayonnaise or a weird tartar sauce instead of curry sauce. Chips don't look proper either
I hate when restaurants like this are dying or empty wtf people Edit: I say this becuase the"old but gold" generation before us know these spots and we miss them following the overpriced "trendy" trash that is usually plastered all over social media
That's the nefarious thing about inflation. People start cutting back on things like eating out. The restaurants lose business so they cut back on staff and the domino effect continues
I live in East Yorkshire and a town only 18 miles from me is called Scarborough also. They also have great fish and chips 😅 we've nicknamed it Scarbados 😂
Oh My Stars, that looks so GOOD!!! I love Fish & Chips, and that Jam Biscuit Pie Thing-of-Goodness looks Amazing! I hope they last another 40yrs with success. Seems like a Great Place to dine and go straight back to the hotel to get some really restful sleep as a Tourist 😅💗
Man i watched this short probably 15 times in a row!! That food looked soo good!! Like my mouth is watering. The fish and chips was just over the roof!! And the Poutine with the meat pie, oh good lord im just beside myself, I imagine a great beef flavored gravy and the meat pie being savory with a great crunch on the dough. And then that dessert the deep fried sammich looking thing with jelly in it!!! Soo beyond yummy, well i can only imagine because i live soo far away from this anazing restaurant.. Thanks for sharing. The Mom and Pop shops always take better care of ya, its more personable, this way the customers and vendors all get to interact with the owner. Great place, definitely a bucket list spot for me in the future.
Appreciate you watch it so many times it helps with the engagement. I appreciate you liking the video too it’s a big encouragement to me! Thanks for the encouraging words!
You should try “untied bakers” next. the pea soup is to DIE for. I’ve been going there since i was a baby. Everyone there is so kind and it’s located on Bathurst and Lawerence!
Hey! Can you try going to ailbaina me and my family always love looking at your videos. Are food is very good. We make are own yogurt in ailbaina and it might blow your mind for all the flavors
I live in the US so it's hard to get good poutine where I live. We had a small family owned restaurant that served really good foods and poutine. Sadly, they went out of business during COVID and everything was shut down for like a year, except what was deemed essentials. Restaurants had to do a lot of takeouts as there were no dine in.
I hope she gets more business and can hire people to work for her. Also maybe one of those revamp shows to upgrade the location and market the business and help her scale up to another location
As someone who's grown up in Britain, gravy on meat pie is great idc what anyone says Also love how you were surprise by how big the haddock was, that's kind of the standard for haddock lmao
Hey dude, if you can, go to Yu seafood, specifically the one in markham. My mom works there, has the best dim sum and seafood Also for anyone wondering, the restaurant he goes to in this video is in Toronto, Scarborough, ellesmere and Mccowan road intersection
The whole time I was watching I was saying please don’t be too far please please please please YES!!! It’s within Canada. Gonna take a flight from Vancouver 🎉
I just watched your short of you and your wife going to an Oshawa sushi restaurant. I used to live in Port Perry and this one place has thee best sushi I’ve ever had. It’s called Jinju Sushi. The best rolls are the Dynamite roll, and the Crazy roll plus I get an order of crab tempura with it, and it comes with this special sauce you dip it in. Amazing!! Please give it a try!! You won’t be disappointed!!
