Mahindra really pulled all the stops on Thar. It handles rough terrain like a world class machine. The fact that it's made by an Indian company should be a matter of pride for us.
You know that it is a copy of Jeep and Mahindra has the tech license to copy right?? nothing is made in India..Its all inspired just like any mallik songs ;-)
@@nkumarmits you know that your name (Nitin) is a copy of millions before you right? It doesn’t mean that you aren’t authentic 😂 …jeep is 60lacs and you get country-made for 15lac. Just be proud bro. I’m sure Jeep Wrangler too copied some ideas from its rivals.
@@nkumarmits The original Wiley's Jeep was setup in India 1945 via licence to Mahindra which later emerged as an independent company. The Wiley's company later made Hummer, Wrangler etc.
I have even seen alto at the summit of the shown place and a thar/ Fortuner 4*4 stuck midway...its all about driving skills....driving on snow is too different from offroading in mud/ slush.
Apart from the thar, you have a very lovely family too. Specially your daughter calling you "papa papa" reminds me of childhood days when while travelling I used to call for my dad and show every little thing by the road to him "baaba eta dekho ota dekho" hehe
I watch these videos just to see their reactions on mountain roads. Bhai hum pahadi toh Splendor aur Alto se he har jagah asaani se pahuunch jaate hain. 😂
Here in America, it will be considered an unsafe vehicle and won't pass a safety insurance test, but still a great vehicle. I am pretty sure that it will pass the black bear pass which is considered as mid-grade off-road terrain.
Hey Bulu, Absolutely fantastic views!! Yes, Thar is a 4 wheel drive, but with that kind of snow, one still needs to be extremely careful. There has been unprecedented snowfall in that area. Stay safe, take care!!
At the end of the road there is a Dam(7-8 kms from this village) .. Unfortunately no entry there.. Also in between there is Pandav caves where pandavas stayed during agyatvas and a frozen pond 🙂... Most beautiful views are between village and dam
@@mantechvlogs5902 I visited during last week of December.. After this village lot of snow was there so our car was sliding and we trekked upto the dam.. May be good time is early December when there is less snow

Congratulations on your new Thar. But please never engage 4 wheel drive on tarmac. Only engage it on road where you do not have enough traction. At the begining of the video when you engaged 4 WD it was hard tarmac. Since Thar is a part time 4WD, engaging 4WD on good traction /hard tarmac will result in permanent damage to the axle/drive train.
dude its India....here people feel 4*4 a showoff stuff...without knowing the use....and the shameful thing is this man is defaming other cars...where in real scenario every single good serviced car can be a ease on snow with winter tires.
Hey man we don't need 4H/4L for this incline or condition..even normal car or drive can handle because its not that worst to engage special gear....If you dont believe me come to nagaland minus snow worst condition than this for normal drive..and yes your wife was right driver experience matter .... @@ExploreWithSandeepG rear wheel drive cars cannot perform in snow if there is less weight in rear side. You could loose traction. Rear wheel drive cars can understeer in most of the situation.

Nothing will save you on that black ice. Here in America, just my customization is over 11K. I bought a 2016 wrangler for 26K and spent 11K just on customization. I am running 35's with dana 44 axels. Forged steel bumper with inbuilt winch, the air pump in the hood for airlockers which can also be used for tire pressure. We climb rocks in our jeeps in America.

hi i am confused between convertible or hard top ? which one do you prefer ? i am more interested in convertible but not sure about its durability in different weather conditions and trips to places like these Manali , Leh . So, help me decide :)
