That album is still on high rotation in my truck, just never get sick of listening to it. What an amazing set of individuals, what an amazing band. Simply timeless.
Family Entertainment is in my top 10 albums of all time. In fact, I'd say it is probably my most played album. I still play it at least once a week on average but played it even more even more in the early days - my guess is I must have heard it well over 3,000 times. A timeless classic which I will still be playing in another 40 years' time (if I live to circa 100!).
I'm just getting into this band. Been listening to alot of Ric Grech era Traffic and had heard he was in Family. Listening is a bit like heroin...at first you may feel a little sick (Goat Boy vocals) but soon euphoria comes..just trying to get past the singer...geez! I have the same problem with Geddy Lee
As you say, h: 'Ric Grech (RIP)'. (I experienced Ric play, with Family, circa 1969-1970 ... 'Family Entertainment' tour; perhaps Edinburgh's Usher Hall?. Thank you, Ric et al.) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ric_Grech All the best, hambuns. Stay free. Rab F 🔊💚🍻😎 [Edit: Line spacing.]
