New Zealand, a small country, has the worst abuse statistics in the developed world. Campaigners and police are trying to reduce the harm but are they doing enough? Carmen Parahi reports.
I live in christchurch. My son and I need help. The courts, police, and lawyers will not listen to men and roll out the red carpet for abusive women. It has to stop. Please visit my page to see some of what I have experienced.
Kia ora MaraeTV! Thank you for sharing the great mahi going on in Huntly. The mahi has been transformational for everyone involved, from the champions on billboards and posters to everyday people. And thank you for recognising the amazing korero, wairua and mana of our great campaign champion, Phil Paikea. We are so proud to have him carrying our kaupapa. Keep up the amazing work!
Perpetrators and victims of DV should be referred to Kawei Limited to attend the Dynamic's of Whanaungatanga Program where they can learn to name a few Tapu Mana Tika pono & aroha. Some probation sites are on to it a lot aren't & continue to send perpetrators to programs that don't work......
Wow. It takes a real man to do what you do. Keep going. Nevermind about those haters, what do they know? As you said, you gotta start somewhere. You're gonna get critics no matter what you do. If it helps someone else why not?
I'm just here because I'm still bleeding. I've cleaned up the floor. Im sorry for such a mess. I won't call the police though I think I might need some stitches.Tomorrow I need to go to work. What am I supposed to say? I fell down the stairs again? I'm so tired. I'm so ashamed. I'm refusing going to hospital. That's a whole new level. I just want to wake up in m y own bed and have a normal day and come home. I can't face anything. I cant a y more.
