Actually, the singer Adele's real name is not Adele Adkins but Adele Evans. She is half Welsh through her late father Marc Evans who hailed from Penarth in Cardiff. He and Adele's mother split when she was 2 years old but they stayed in contact until he moved back to South Wales permanently. Sadly he became estranged from Adele and suffered with alcoholism before passing away due to bowel cancer in 2021.
