Famous Cities Then VS Now
The world has increased over the last 100 years that it's difficult to imagine just how much things have changed during that time.
Many of the world's most famous cities and country capitals bare little resemblance to their earlier selves.
Take a look at these before and after pictures of beautiful cities to see what I mean.
Please give this video a thumbs up if you enjoyed it and also share it with your friends. Don't forget to click the notification bell. It's the only way you will be notified of a new video.
I love making videos.

On the photo of Paris in 1900, what we see in the foreground are the pavilions of the Universal Exhibition. These are temporary constructions with metal frames and staff facings. On a photo from 1899 or 1901, they wouldn't be there either!

Fascinating! I grew up in downtown Frankfurt Germany in the 60’s and remember when it was safe to be out on the streets all day and night’s too. Today never! Now let's be fair. Beautiful coloring and expert photography and technology really pretties-up these cities. Black and white make the rivers look brown, which they may be. Color them blue and you have a good-looking city.

Interesting. Some cities exploded in size while others changed relatively some. Would be interesting to see New Zealands cities from early 1900's to now (2022)

Vilnius, Lithuania really grew..... lovely city. The two towns in Norway look cozy and humble. The one in Germany didn't change very much. Athens was always beautiful. Paris looked big then, it's still a big city, but it doesn't look quite as exquisite.

It is really nice to see the change in the way the world has been and 100 years but it is also sad because I remember stories my grandmother Karen Beaver till told me years ago in South Dakota how she lived the freedom but also she was afraid they put them in schools would cut their hair beat them chain them make them learn what they wanted to learn wouldn't let them be themselves at all that part is sad actually very sad so remember was you grow and one thing you lose in another try to remember at least the past as you're growing into the future take care be safe and be good to one another bye-bye

Wow! Just wow! It's scary how much can change in a short span of time. Some for the better and some, sadly for the worse. I guess progression is dependent on the intelligence and will power of humans unified. Of course, money is a huge factor to it all.
