In the famous Jamia Islamia Darul Uloom Mehrajpura of Sopore, a grand ceremony was organized in honor of 198 students.
Yearly function of North kashmir largest Daruloom held at Mahrajpora Sopore.
Atleast 198 students of the Daruloom were given Dastarbandi in a grand function at Sopore.
Various noted Ulmas and Muftis were present on the occasion and delivered sermons on the the occasion.
One of the oldest and reputed daruloom at mahrajpora Sopore where dastar Bandi was held and many students were accorded the welcome.They said that around 500 students study here and annually this function takes place so that they are given a warm welcome.
He said that today this function took place and many were present on the occasion and we hope that such things and actively take place in future also.
