Of most worth to me was the opportunity to meet with people to discuss the foundations of their belief. I talked with members who were politically liberal and I talked with members who were politically conservative. If you are wondering, I came to the conclusion that both Democrats and Republicans should be welcomed within Mormonism although each group has its own unique set of challenges in living the gospel

@mixeddude21 Right on, what I learned in mission-prep is that sometimes our Heavenly Father commands his prophets to do unusual things, things that we don't understand but there is always a purpose, a purpose that we don't know but God does we see this in the bible, like where Moses is told them to look at the brazen serpent, some thought that it was pathetic and that there was no way they were going to be able to be healed after looking at it, but some did and were blessed/healed

I know this is an older video but I just had to say that I don't understand why some people want to hate Mormons. They are good people, full of love, that just want to help. Thank you. i have read the Book of Mormon many times. i believe it is the most correct of any book. if you will, please acknowledge Bible teachings that reject mingling of races. The Lord has His reason at certain seasons of time. As with all of God's commandments, with prayer, humility and fasting, the light and knowledge of heaven may pour into our minds and fill us with wisdom of hidden things of God (run-on).

Wow how sad. People judging but don't know the real facts. One must actually attend church read the scriptures and pray before opening your mouth. Otherwise your the idiots. Always remember. The teac ings of the church and the church itself are not the same as the people of the church. There a lot of hypocrits in all churches including ours. My father is a retired scientist and well respected in his field actually. We embrace science and scientific data along with the idea that God exists and created this world! It's SUPER ignorant to NOT believe that a GOD created this world. There have always been and always will be naysayers and unbelievers...nothing new there.
