Famous Olympian's ABANDONED 8 million dollar 1930s mega MANSION 

This Estate is INCREDIBLE!!!! From the Woodwork inside and out, to the Stained Glass, JUST GORGEOUS!!!! Why can't a BEAUTIFULLY BUILT PLACE LIKE THIS BE SAVED?! This world is just UPSIDE DOWN!!!!

I'm starting to think these houses are being bought up to be destroyed on purpose to destroy our history and real craftmanship. A antique collector forsure would have come in and took out the windows, trim and fixtures. This is a sin and never should have been allowed. So sad 😢

Why in the heck would someone demolish this gorgeous old home

My mind is so blown. How can anything better be put in this magnificent mansion's place. This place is perfection. There's no way something better is even out there to replace this amazing home, with so much love and attention to detail put into it, the fireplace's...... everything. Oh my gosh and now it's gone. It's just heartbreaking!! I will never understand the person's thinking behind taking away this amazing home, I don't care how much money you have. This place should never have been demolished to put up "something better". I'm just beyond heartbroken. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. It just makes me so sad that the past is just being demolished, so much beauty gone😢

All of this home could be salvaged for other people to reuse

It's quite a shame to see such a masterpiece reduced to rubble. Some people just really do have way too much money and no sense or appreciation for anything other than themselves and their own wealth. Such a shame to see something that beautiful in that good of condition get destroyed by someone just throwing money around because they can.

In the States there is big money in salvaging houses like this. If they have to tear it down, save some of the history and craftsmanship!

What a waste! To demolish such a beautiful, well built home! It wouldn't have taken alot to restore this lovely Tudor home. People are so wasteful.
