i would say the opposite. i have been vegan for 7 years and before that was vegetarian since teenage. i agree with you that , you need to be sensible that you eat healthy but his is quite easily done, especially now and there are alot of resources like books (libraries are stocking them now) dvd you tube vegan sociey or people who can help with any questions. straight vegan is the best way to wards a long and healthy life no doubt im living it.

I personally think that humans are the worst plague the planet has ever known, except for vegans. I am personally not vegan but do not consume dead tortured animals. The human race disgusts me. ***** I was brought up with the belief that Hitler was a vegetarian towards the end of his life.The historical sources/texts we always read seemed to indicate that he was a vegetarian and an animal rights advocate. However doing some quick skimming on the internet I've come across a lot of sites that cite sources Hitler towards the end did consume sliced ham and sausages. At this point I don't know what to believe regarding whether he was a vegetarian from 1939 onwards. All the same we can't deny that he was at least sympathetic towards animals, and moved to act many times in their favour. This is not to say that Hitler supporting animal rights has any bearing on the animal rights movement, which I myself am strongly for. Its just that I have a strong distaste for any time of video, or "argument" that calls in famous people and says "oh look they shared my stance as well". I only watch this video for a psych. class, and it irritated me.

Jose Martinez You say you are vegetarian, so the difference in food is eggs and milk. So why don't just stop eating them al together? You say eat properly, but what does milk and eggs have that would cost you so much with a vegan diet? And plant based butter which is not expensive at all could get you whatever milk is giving you. And you could even find researches that show that eating eggs is not what you could call 'eating properly'.

i don't eat eggs (because then i wouldn't be a vegetarian if i did), and i don't drink milk either. however, and i say this again, food labeled 'vegan' costs 2, to 3 x more to purchase. this is the ONLY point i'm making, which happens to be true. thanks for your input.

Jose Martinez What does 'labeled vegan; means? Why does that matter? You don't need to eat the vegan versions of food if you don't want (specially if you care about health). Eating vegan is not expensive, it's actually really cheap. The only reason the rest is close is because of subsidies. And if you want to be fair, you can compare these 'labeled as vegan' food with expense versions of other kind of food.
