I got sucked into the new age atheist religion. The fact that I couldn’t prove God empirically, stumped me as a kid and made Islam seem like a blind faith religion to my young and impressionable mind. They told me that religion was a tool of mass control and indoctrination with no evidence. I blindly followed their religion of naturalism over our religion of truth. However, when I dared to actually picked up the Quran, that we can prove has never been changed. I saw all the proof that a logical and rational mind needed to accept the truth. May Allah shower you all with his mercy, knowledge, and guidance. If I can’t meet you all in this life, then inshAllah we’ll continue this discussion in the afterlife. Please keep my family and I in your Dua and ask Allah to bring us closer to him.
I used to watch his channel back in 2016ish when he made VR videos (I was a teenager at the time, I’m now an adult). I was an atheist, never grew up religious. I stopped watching him after a couple years and then I went through my ‘spiritual’ phase - I’d get his channel pop up on my recommendations since I’ve always been subscribed to him and I noticed he too was also going through a similar spiritual phase. My spiritual phase then led to an immense fear of death and I became very nihilistic. Soon after I met a Muslim who taught me so much about islam. As I was learning about islam I then got Lucids ‘I reverted to Islam’ video pop up, lol. It’s like I’ve been on a similar journey to his on the same timeline. I’ve now reverted (after learning about Islam for a year) and took my shahada at the start of this year (Alhamdulillah♥️) . It’s really cool to see someone I grew up watching also become a Muslim. Even though I’ve never spoken to or met him, it now feels like I have because of Islam. It’s a small world moment for sure hahah!
When we are born Muslim, we are not taught explanations why we pray or do certain things therefore don’t take it seriously. Hamdillah I renewed my faith. The best thing ever happened in my life.
Same here. Born Muslim who reverted back after years of other side, I'm much more closer to my faith than ever been. Actually go out to research my faith and ignore my cultural islamic teaching, now I take straight from Quran
*BELIEF IN OUR CREATOR IS NATURAL AND INSTINCTIVE.* An interesting point is that the Qur’an says that belief in a Creator is the natural state of all human beings: “So [Prophet] as a man of pure faith, stand firm and true in your devotion to the religion. This is the natural disposition God instilled in mankind…” [30:30] There is in fact psychological, sociological and anthropological evidence to support this notion. *Oxford University psychologist Dr Olivera Petrovich,* an expert in psychology of religion, conducted some studies concerning the psychology of the human being and God’s existence. *She discovered that infants are hard-wired to believe in God, and atheism has to be learned.* (Infants ‘have natural belief in God’, The Age National (Australia). Accessed7th February 2015:) Some scientists today argue that *belief in God* or a higher power is *hardwired into our genes.* {Dean H. Hamer, The God Gene: How Faith Is Hardwired into Our Genes. (New York: Doubleday, 2004), 6.} *Professor Justin Barrett did some research* by looking at the behaviour and claims of children. He concluded that the children believed in what he calls *“natural religion”.* This is the idea that there is a personal being that created the entire universe. That ‘being’ cannot be human - it must be divine, supernatural: "Scientific research on children’s developing minds and supernatural beliefs suggests that children normally and rapidly acquire minds that facilitate belief in supernatural agents… Not long after their first birthday, babies appear to understand that agents, but not natural forces or ordinary objects, can create order out of disorder… Who is the Creator? Children know people are not good candidates. It must have been a god… *children are born believers of what I call natural religion* …" (Justin L. Barrett, Born Believers: The Science of Children’s Religious Belief, Free Press, 2012, pp. 35 - 36.)
I’m sure it was a purposeful act. People who do not believe in God, for some reason, cannot stand to hear that others do. Why does it bother them so much? We don’t care if they don’t want to believe like us. I think it’s Shaytan who makes them so uncomfortable to hear that there are people who do believe in God. It is really scary how much they try to dissuade children from following their “Fitrah”(Innate belief in God) & now trying to normalize homosexuality. “May Allah protect our children from these evil people & keep them steadfast in their faith of Islam. Ameen!!”🤲🏻
That's the point. How can I send there where my child knowingly learns homosexuality and asks me if I'm a man or woman. May almighty Allah protect all of us.
What is it with atheist teachers asking 12 year old students to prove God exists? My English teacher asked my class the same question in high school . May Allah ease their hearts and wipe away their arrogance. Lovely interview ~ May Allah reward you for all your efforts inshallah
It's bullying. Adults asking children that they're supposed to be teaching deep, high level questions that most adults can't answer in-depth without study.
Exactly my thoughts. How on earth that a teacher doctrined his students so they lose their faith towards their God. May we all are safe from any kind of fitnah in this dunya. Aamiin.
My religious teacher was obsessed with that question too as well as asking us why God allows suffering, and would look at the muslims and say ‘free will’ and ‘life is a test’ doesn’t count. Very odd
Kind of like an indirect way of brainwashing the kids, perhaps? The kind of brainwashing that forces the kids to question right from the start of their childhood that God isn't real. So they would grow up with doubts in their minds and not follow the teachings of religion. Or it could be that they're just mentally frustrated and depressed(atheism does that to you) in their lives and can't stand seeing others in peace. May Allah guide those people. Ameen.
Ask him to first logically explain the creation of the universe . Ask him to first prove that there is no God . He can’t even prove of there r other creatures apart from Earth. The only best explanation is to believe that there is an all powerful one that created and sustained all the creation .
Subhanallah I remember some years ago I used to watch him and in a specefic video he mentioned religions and with it Islam, and he pronounced the word "islam" in the most perfect accurate arabic accent, I was shocked and thought to myself he might actually be Muslim, but the way he described his philosophies and ideology didn't sound that islamic, I came to the conclusion he might've been Muslim who's in the process of embracing other beliefs, funny thing is that I was watching that video with my friend next to me, and we both had the same thought and I jokingly said to my friend "Allah yehdih" meaning may Allah guide him, but look at him now subhanallah I'm mindblown and emotional because of how much I relate to him and because of how unexpected this is, may Allah guide us all and enter us his paradise through his love and mercy.
California-based prominent Eastern Christian Priest, Father Hilarion Heagy, has converted to Islam after renouncing Christianity. Heagy, who has now changed his name to Said Abdul Latif, said his inclination towards Islam took place 20 years ago, but he has only recently converted to the religion.☝️❤️
Mashaa Allah. But why'd he change his name? This name changing needs to stop- the Rasoul s.a.w was a Mercy to all of mankind and Islam is for all cultures and religions. People need to see Islam in their culture and changing a reverts name isn't good for that
@@user-et2ng1qb2m I agree. As long as the name has no connotation of shirk in it continuing with their name after reversion should be welcomed. It will be too much of a hassle to change the new names on certificates and other documents. However if they like to change their names than it is their choice.
im a revert muslimah , so when i took my shahada i chose the name Khadija for my Muslim name, but my documents & valid Id still had the same name on my Birth certificate here in the Muslim and Arab country we are living now esp. my husband & in laws they call me by my Muslim name so its really up to you if u wanna change ur names even on your valid Id's or documents or jusy like the same as mine
This is coming from a born Muslim. Islam, or religion, in particular, is never something that can be forced upon anyone, and shouldn’t be. There are some born Muslim families who actually are very strict with religious stuff, but Iman is not something that can be imposed with force upon someone. It has to come from with in ones heart, and that is a fundamental aspect of Iman. Without believing it from the bottom of one's heart, they cannot be a true Muslim. Families should explain from the start the concept and true meaning of Islam instead of just imposing it on the next generation.
Parents do love their kids. They plant the seeds and nurtured them. What becomes of those seeds growing into something else, is not within their knowledge. The knowledge is with Allah.
"Or were they created by nothing, or are they ˹their own˺ creators? (25) Or did they create the heavens and the earth? In fact, they are not certain (26)" Quran 52:25-26
Another excellent interview ! Many thanks to Toward Eternity team for their time and efforts. It was a very inspiring speech by Alex and big congratulations for your great decision about re-ambracing Islam and for the religion base activities . May ALLAHcc reward you all with his heaven !

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “No man purifies himself, and does it thoroughly, then goes to the masjid, except that Allah records a good deed for him for every step he takes, raises him a degree for it, and wipes away a sin from him for it” (Muslim).
This is a necessary video for people that were born into muslim family but lost faith along the way. I'm pretty sure many of us had crisis of faith at some point of our life. That's why reading Quran is necessary. That's why gaining knowledge is a must for Muslims cause ignorance breeds unfaithfulness. Alhamdulillah when Muslims starts reading and researching, they find their way back to Allah SWT. This is also a reminder that just because you're a born Muslim doesn't mean you don't have to find Islam. Just like non Muslims who reverted to Islam, Muslims have to find their way to Allah SWT.
Reminded me of my childhood. I used to feel physically sick when had to go for my Quran lessons. Now I can't think of living a day without Quran, AlhamdulilAllah. That's why there shouldn't be any compulsion in the religion.
Alhumdullilah. So glad Allah chose you to be among the guided as He has promised any who reflect with courage and integrity. May we all diverse ones coexist harmoniously, In’sha’Allah.
I've been watching Ali (real name) for a couple of years now, and for the last year or so I knew he was secretly Muslim. Alhamdulillah, I'm so proud of him. May Allah make all of our hearts firm on the straight path. Ameen.
sad to see after lucids video where he said "im muslim" his viewers dropped a lot, that just shows the youtubes politics and societies way of thinking.
Alhamdulillah ❤️ Wallahi being a Muslim is the greatest blessing, honour an success you can ever achieve in this temporary life ❤️ ALLAH is the king of all kings
I totally agree. Coming from an orthodox Christian background (only by name truly we were just atheists) when I converted to Islam my father was disgraced and my mother didn’t care. The funny part is they weren’t happy or supportive of this decision, but when I buy a new car or clothes or something just as useless they appear very “happy”… I don’t like the world we live in today, being so materialistic minded, connecting with Islam, submitting to Allah was truly the greatest thing I’ve ever experienced. They can have satan’s pleasures of this world, I want what Allah bestows for me in the next world, that is if I am worthy. Allhamdullilah
@@BudgetGainsByJJ mashallah my brother/sister u are always welcome in our religion, u made the right decision. May allah (SWT) guide u to the right path 😊
I can relate a bit to him, i went to weekend islamic lessons and i HATED the teachers and it made me NOT want to be a muslim. Hamdoulillah now its the opposite i pray, i wear hijab, i want to do a lot of good things for Allah!
Islam is not a religion. Islam is way of (good) life. Just open your heart and mind, read The Holy Book Qur'an, and feel it yourself. It's like God speak to you directly....
Elon Musk gave brief remarks, praising Islam at the 2023 World Government Summit Musk explained, "While Rome was falling, Islam was rising, so you had a caliphate doing well while Rome was doing terribly. And that ended up being a source of preservation of knowledge and many scientific advancements." "So I think we need to be a little conscious of being too much of a single civilization because if we are too much of a single civilization, then the whole thing may collapse," he continued.
پرواز بنده گی به خدایی نمیرسد ای خاک خاک باش، بلند است آسمان بیدل (رح) According to Quran, Allah has put something from his to every human. But sometimes when human come to their highest, then they feel like they are God. That's why Bidel says the above.

From Lucid's early VR days to whereh e is now, i've never felt so proud and so awe struck of some one else's journey into Islam, he really is an inspiration for me and it felt so nice seeing other people I watched on youtube, grow into and learn about Islam just as I was doing at the same time.
Writer, Stanley Lane-Poole, wrote: He freely forgave the Koreysh all the years of sorrow and cruel scorn in which they had afflicted him, and gave an amnesty to the whole population of Mekka…It was thus that Mohammad entered again his native city. Through all the annals of conquest there is no triumphant entry comparable to this one.”
Man these confusing mind boggling questions growing up really hit hard, used to do the same when i was younger. The believe in Allah and his revelation really lifts that burden from our shoulders. والحمد لله على كل حال. These excessive questions in the mind can really destroy a person.
What I found very interesting in your life story is the fact that you started by just following everyone into the religion without really believing in it. And it's only when you actually started to believe in your religion, when you actually understood what you were believing in and why you were believing it, that you became happy. I think even for non religious people, this is very inspiring because many people are agnostic because they just don't have time to ask these questions to themselves. But I personally am an agnostic because I thought a long time, asked me existential questions, and finally I found who I really am. That's what everyone, religious or not, should keep from this video i think.
Ameen it is in seeking the truth that you find it! It us almost as if Allah taala sees you notices u and guides you to the ultimate truth! Alhamdulilah
LUCID! I found out about him from NoFap videos. I realized many of his beliefs aligns with Islam, so I was hoping that he becomes Muslim. Knowing that he reverted made me happy. Alhamdulillah.

This Channels is simply amazing. Enlightens those with curiosity with a sincere heart. Also revive the faith of those whom already follow Islam. May Allah continue to open doors to those curious of Islam. If you know it’s true don’t wait! We all have a time appointed and no one knows when their time will end !

This is the most beautiful Hamd I read in a long time! if it's written by you then Thank you!! this spoke my heart and brought tears to my eyes. May Allah humble the hearts of believers by your words too. Ameen
Bro using Quantum to feel the presence of Allah, MasyaAllah, I really like it I really liked physics theory, quantum, thermo, dimension, etc. too, and ofc that makes my iman stronger, really thanks you make me remember that again, cuz now I need to focus for my colleague that not related to physics like I was
All sins are forgiven for those who accept Islam. Qur'an 8:38. Say to those who have disbelieved [that] if they cease, what has previously occurred will be forgiven for them. ‘Amr ibn al-‘As reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Do you not know that embracing Islam wipes away all sins committed before it, that emigration wipes away what came before it, and the Hajj pilgrimage wipes away what came before it?” Sahih Muslim 121
We are all not Gods. There is only one God. You can’t see God because we are humans. Once we die, our sprit leaves the body.God is pure sprit and pure conciseness and pure love, all powerful along with pure and powerful intelligence. This why you can’t see God.
i know too many "social muslims". maybe at some points in my life i was the same. now i know the real importance of "ilm before amal", it makes us real muslims; doing things only because we believe in Allah and not because other human beings.
I am glad he found his way back .. but that teacher was so unethical.. 12 year old children don't have the ability to find arguments to answer him back if he wants to debate faith he should find someone on his level
He’s totally right. Many Islam teachers at schools are strict here in Europe (perhaps they’re using their original culture/custom or how they’re taught when they’re little). This make children feel frightened and stressed out. This still happens now, had the experience with my child. The teaching methodology and approach for children today is completely different with the old generation ones. The way they explain Islam and pass those essential Islamic points should be suitable enough for children’s capacity. Maybe because not so many ones who are qualified both as Islam teacher and of nationally standard teacher in the country 🤷🏻♀️.
In his book A History of the Intellectual Development of Europe, John William Draper wrote: “Four years after the death of Justinian, A.D. 569, was born at Mecca, in Arabia the man who, of all others, exercised the greatest influence upon the human race… Mohammed, by Europeans surnamed “the Impostor”…Mohammed possessed that combination of qualities which more than once decided the fate of empires. A preaching soldier, he was eloquent in the pulpit [when delivering speeches], valiant in the field. His theology was simple: ‘There is but one God.’ [That the sum total of the religion is that God is One.]…Asserting that everlasting truth, he did not engage in vain metaphysics, but applied himself to improving the social condition of his people by regulations respecting personal cleanliness, sobriety, fasting, prayer. Before all other works he esteemed almsgiving and charity.” .
one question i ask a lot if god doesn't exist as all these atheist say, who planned sun has to be closer to us in order for us to live in earth, how everything setup perfect
In The Outline of History, professor H.G. Wells wrote regarding a major proof of the prophethood of the Prophet Muhammad “Because those who knew Muhammad best believed in him the most… Muhammad was no impostor at any rate…there can be no denying that Islam possesses many fine and noble attributes… They created a society more free from widespread cruelty and social oppression than any society had ever been in the world before.” .
Allah has promised the Paradise for the believers. Qur’an 42:30-32. 30. Indeed, those who have said, “Our Lord is Allah ” and then on a right course - the angels will descend upon them, [saying], “Do not fear and do not grieve but receive good tidings of Paradise, which you were promised. 31. We [angels] were your allies in worldly life and [are so] in the Hereafter. And you will have therein whatever your souls desire, and you will have therein whatever you request [or wish] 32. As accommodation from a [Lord who is] Forgiving and Merciful.” .
Annie Besant wrote in the book, The Life and Teachings of Muhammad: “It is impossible for anyone who studies the life and character of the great Prophet of Arabia, who knows how he taught and how he lived, to feel anything but reverence for that mighty Prophet, one of the great messengers of the Supreme. And although in what I put to you I shall say many things which may be familiar to many, yet I myself feel whenever I re-read them, a new way of admiration, a new sense of reverence for that mighty Arabian teacher.” Annie Besant. The Life and Teachings of Muhammad. Theosophical Publishing House., India. p. 4 (1932).
Qur'an 9:72. Allah has promised the believing men and believing women gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally, and pleasant dwellings in gardens of perpetual residence; but approval from Allah is greater. It is that which is the great attainment. .
In a statement published in Young India, Mahatma Ghandi stated: “I wanted to know the best of the life of one who holds today an undisputed sway over the hearts of millions of mankind…. I became more than ever convinced that it was not the sword that won a place for Islam in those days, in the scheme of life. It was the rigid simplicity, the utter self-effacement of the Prophet, the scrupulous regard for pledges, his intense devotion to his friends and followers, his intrepidity, his fearlessness, his absolute trust in God and in his own mission. These, and not the sword, carried everything before them and surmounted every obstacle. When I closed the second volume [of a book on the Prophet’s biography], I was sorry there was not more for me to read of that great life.” .
The Prophet ﷺ said to Aisha, "Have you ever known me to use foul language? Verily, the worst of people to Allah on the Day of Resurrection are those whom people avoid for fear of their evil.” Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 6032
I truly agree with the term of social Muslims. Follow blindly without even knowing why am I doing it. It is a MUST fr all living souls to find and understand Allah swt. Subhanallah.
I was born Muslim, I have sinned much in life, and I always seek out Allah for forgiveness and work towards being a better believer; to strengthen our faith is necessary, especially during these times we live in. Salaam alejkum and may your year be the best one you've had so far to whoever reads this.
