7:00 this is my problem with these old games. The hill previously taught you to not jump when sliding because it gets you killed. This treebranch teaches you you have to jump or else you're dead. Like them or hate them, FromSoft at least has never put mixed signals like that in their games. Edit: I once watched a speedrun of the original game where the runner said the starting weapon was the only good weapon in the game. I assumed he meant for speedruners. How wrong I was.

A lot of these deaths seem to be Vinny's fault, not the game's. He tanks every hit, stays in one spot too long and isn't constantly on the move, failing the same jumps over and over, constantly getting hit by easily avoidable projectiles, and focuses on the stupid chat more than the game

Oh god what did they do to this game it looks horrible! The 16 bit retro style was WAY more fitting than this cartoon pop out crap. If I didn't know about the NES game I would have for sure thought this was a fan made game or from Newgrounds.
