The funniest thing is: Emily is really nice to her fans! I asked her to voice one character for my video (she just got 1 mil subs at the time and I had 8 subs) and she did! I feel her. It sucks. This has happened to me before. Some person had gotten in my DMs, wanting to chat. That was fine. But I was busy, so I often couldn’t reply to messages. Then one day when I just wanted some free quick time to myself, I posted some artwork in one of my social medias. This guy then decided Pop back in again to be snarky, saying stuff like “Feels great to be ignored” or something. I apologized And told them that I wasn’t able to reply very often because I was busy. However, they still went on. Saying stuff like “But you posted art. So you must have free time”. They continued to argue back until I told them to cut that crap, and that we were done talking. I was patient. But the way they were talking to me had made me just not motivated to talk to them anymore. I don’t watch Emirichu. But maybe I should, to show support. I just hope that guy learns some lesson one way or another. Emirichu herself seems to be like a sweet person. Anyone who decides to act like this upon someone like her, are those who obviously try to emotionally manipulate others.

This “fan” threatening her is such a special snowflake. Literally asking someone with 2,000,000+ fans and subscribers to reply to his DMs in the sea of other DMs she gets. Then the fan gets upset when she says that she can’t reply to them all, which makes his reasoning insensible. Not only that, I understand the threatener was in their worst times, but seeking out a random RU-vidr for help isn’t sensible either. These people that are hidden in these communities and fandoms really aren’t true fans if they are going to great lengths to threaten people over things so trivial they shouldn’t even have an eyelash batted at them. And in times like this when RU-vidrs are working as hard as they can to produce content that’s fun for people while we’re all stuck inside, we can’t expect them to make ends meet most of the time.

The reason people bully on the internet: Jealousy (Envy): One of the many challenges of being an artist is dealing with people who are jealous. Normally jealous people act 1 in 3 ways; they either bully, emotionally abuse someone by making them feel guilty for being good, or they just be the good person and leave it alone, maybe even try to get as good by practicing or whatever. Normally when bullying occurs, jealousy is part of the act. Maybe they are jealous of her art, how famous she is, or how "innocent" she seems to be, maybe her life seems perfect and she doesn't feel the need to talk or rant about her problems (I don't know her well either) Anger: obviously anger can be triggered by anything. This includes being ignored, gossiped about, betrayed, or some other thing. Jealousy also sparks anger and resentfulness. Insecurity (pain): Weather someone has been abused or bullied in the past or they have had a traumatic experience or they are just emotional due to a disability or multiple disabilities (like me, lol), bullies love taking their pain out on others. It's easier on the internet than anywhere else. Jealousy can be a trigger but so can something as little as being ignored. Any kind of abuse, even the smallest of abuse, can make someone go insane. It hurts to be bullied, and when you admire someone so much and they ignore you, it triggers something. It makes you crazy enough to be selfish cause you want people to like you and pay attention to you, especially those you "admire". Parents: On the topic of abuse, a person may also react this way because of their parents. Maybe their parents have taught them these things or allowed the world to teach them these things and decided not to do anything about it, perhaps they abused them. Maybe their parents are people who also act like that online, triggering a "monkey see, monkey do" type moment. As for what I have to say about this. We all have our own types of suffering, we all get hurt, abused, angry, and jealous, but even after all I have just mentioned, I still don't feel the slightest bit of remorse for that chick who decided that threatening an artist, who devotes her time, energy, and money into making these videos, is acceptable. There is NO EXCUSE for bullying, threatening, or cussing someone out for ignoring you. You are not the most important or only person out there. She probably has TONS of fans filling her DMS that she has to deal with already along with working to entertain you and all her other fans. Jealous? Work on yourself and your talents! Get better! Don't let jealousy condemn you in any way. Bullying or abusing someone in ANYWAY won't help you get better, instead you are wasting time you could be using to get better! Being ignored? Too bad! Move on! Maybe text her with a KIND message and understand that you are not the center of everything she does! She has a life to! She's not our entertainment slave! I don't care if you have insecurities or a bad backstory, at least half the population does! If you are old enough to have the intelligence to threaten someone like this then you have the ability to have enough common sense to know what is right and wrong regardless of your upbringing. The only acception to this is if you are mentally insane, in that case, you should be in a mental hospital instead of on the internet threatening people.
