For Understanding, It's whoever first beats the other 2 players in a round robin, between FZD, XX and ZQH. If FZD wins this one he wins the tournament. If XX wins, then it's 1-1-1, and they go again (with a one set showdown)

A match between Gods, Both players performed extremely well.

This is what I call adrenaline at its peaks. My heart is pounding just from watching this. Absolutely incredible. We officially entered the post-malong era of table tennis.

Beating both Zhou Qihao and XX, Fan ZD won the Marvellous 12 of 2020,. With it, he got a ticket (one of the 5) to Teams Worlds in March and a check of One Million RMB, (roughly $150,000). Congratulations to him!

That qualification tournament is probably harder to win than Olympic gold this summer :D

Most insane match of Fan Zhendong I have ever seen!!!

Seeing FZD go from a wonder kid to world number one has been quite a journey just as a spectator

By far the best game of the year so far (which isnt hard as we are only 4 days in xD). XuXin surely had it on his racket but Fan prevailed again with sick shots in close moments. SICK GAME

That enormous tiebreaker game broke down XX’s spirit I think. It was at that time that FZD realized he could win it and got a huge second wind.

This boggles my mind that people are able to do this to such a continuous degree.

Hoping this global virus scare stops before March. Table tennis standard and style have advanced so much since the Waldner/LGL days. The spin, speed, and angle are so much more powerful and drastic. Singles & doubles' Rallies are so spectacular. Being able to watch it ALL HERE is incredible. Greatest and deepest respect to the uploaders.

Fan Zhendong is in the clouds, wow! How he counters Xu Xin’s spiny loop with almost flat angle to cross table, is the best backhand technique against heavy topspin I have ever seen.

They are my favorite two players.

FZD, after losing in Diamond 2019 at Singapore, has sharpened and improved his game to an unprecedented level. If not out of form, I don't think anyone can go past him this year.

FZD, with his new/wonderful BH block, he'll be No. 1 for a loooong time. Might have to thank the loss to LYJ's perfect BH flick in T2 Diamond that forced him to develop/perfect this technique. He retaliated in Nov 2019 Austrian QF but it seems he's advanced even more here. Both know each other's game so well, only on-court performance can decide the difference. Happy and enjoy it so much. a good match. FZD now plays smarter. he knows better when to use power and when to withhold it and apply other techniques instead to return a ball, which makes the game more fun to watch. XX's backhand has improved a lot and this makes him even more difficult to deal with.

The only players who can beat the Chinese are the Chinese.

It is interesting how much both push after the serve. Especially FZD usually has great opening flicks but both are cautious of the big counter loops of the opponent and neither really wants to open the rally so we see often 3-4 pushes before somebody opens the rally with a topspin

Fan Zhendong just finished a match with another player and 30 minutes later, he played with Xu Xin. Obviously in game 2 and game 3, Fan was exhausted. After winning game 4, he was back again. Really Fantastic.

War of gods indeed - unfortunately xx couldn’t close the 3rd game when he was leading 10-7. With sheer brilliance fzd bailed himself out and eventually won the game . breathtaking stuff .
