I chose to stick with fanatec, I got the dd+ compsred it to my simagic alpha and God is the dd+ so good it actually reminds me so much of aseteks ffb delivery now. That extra slewrate and speed of the ffb and the extra details with the center forces never dipping are finally there.
How did you connect the wire? USB connection. I’m about to build a Pokornyi wheel still waiting on some parts so any info will help greatly. I also have Asetek wheelbase and QR
Hi Sam excellent video! I am building the same wheel as yours. Having a slight problem with the alignment of the buttons. The right side top 3 buttons are not protruding enough and it is almost flush with the guard. Very difficult to press the buttons. Did you face the same problem?
@seven-sam Thank you for your detailed response Sam. This does reasure me. As I am very pleased still with the DD1, especially after upgrading to the new QR2 quick release. If the FFB was night and day difference I could justify the upgrade . But I think now my scenario would be that I do not upgrade, unless in the future I purchase a non fanatec wheel, as I would not appreciate an USB cable attached to the wheel.
