I also upgraded about a week ago and wow what a difference. In the beginning the Ultimate + felt very good but I wasn’t sure if it was worth the 1000€ more until I used the V3s again yesterday and only then realized how big the improvement of the Ultimate + really are. So glad to have the Ultimate+ and would recommend them to anyone who is really into simracing and has the money. But the V3s are still good pedals for the price
V3s are still a great pedal set...the HEs after having them a few months are a great pedal, took a bit to find the right elastomer that feels nice for me but very used to them now 👌
I found this upgrade helped me be more consistent and from that came being able to feel and understand what to do to get a quicker lap. Need something more than socks IMHO. I never got on with the V3 even with the BPK.
No I have not tried to tweet the response in the software but may go back there when I recon I am good enough to benefit from it e.g. add a little bite at the start of braking or soften the accelerator. I don’t usually use abs or tc. I had double knee surgery on my left so don’t use very hard elastomers. Race beyond matters did a good video a few days ago you might have seen. I am more comfortable with a bit of travel in the break to let me try and judge trail breaking better, and a stiffer throttle to limit wheel spin.
Yep after having them for a while, I'll check later which letter elastomer I have in but I think my peak is 50kg with about say 20-30mm travel took a while to find the sweet spot with travel but that works well for me...google search HRS sims, you'll see the pedal pads in his website worth every cent much more comfortable 👌
I just got the Heusinkvelds from inverted v3….cannot stand the ultimates…I have zero feel hit no apexes cant trail brake little travel…i am going back to the v3 inverted….I feel like the only sane peraon in crazy town…I dont want to strain to use the brake….there is no g force in a sim to help…
New pedals always take a bit to get used to, took me a few weeks to find the elastomers that worked for me. I'm not straining to use the brake I've got 20-30mm travel, I'd have to say your the first person I've heard that wasn't happy with them. Just gotta tweak the elastomers to something that works for you
True, I'm sure sprints would do the job but my thoughts were didn't wanna get sprints then wanna upgrade later on...the taller pedal actually helps for me I suppose I got clown feet lol
