When Frozen 2 came out, everyone in my class couldn't stop singing that *one* song. It's not even the best song in the movie! It's just a remix of Dies Irae with some lyrics slapped on it! Same thing happened with Aladdin.

The Rick and Morty one is very detailed and true. I always see comments like "You have to have a pretty high IQ to watch Rick and Morty." No you don't, you can watch anything you want stupid or not.
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick & Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick's existential catchphrase "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon's genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them. 😂 And yes, by the way, i DO have a Rick & Morty tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid 😎

A space western about the crew of the Firefly-class transport ship Serenity. The show follows them as they travel through the frontiers of the galaxy, taking on jobs of varying levels of legality and meeting up with other colourful characters, all while staying one step ahead of the Alliance, the ruling government of the system. The main cast is as follows. Malcolm Reynolds, played by Nathan Fillion: The captain of Serenity and a former Browncoat in the war between the Alliance and the Independents. After the Independents lost, Malcolm (or Mal, as he's often known) purchased Serenity as a means of keeping his freedom. In a lot of ways, he's like Jack Sparrow; suave, rogue-ish, wily, a code of honour that he has concerning the people he's closest to, and a desire for complete, undiminished freedom and to have no one ever tell him what to do above all else. Zoe, played by Gina Torres: Serenity's first mate and a Browncoat who fought under Mal in the war. She is completely loyal to Mal no matter what, and is without a doubt the most badass fighter out of everyone on the ship. Wash, played by Alan Tudyk: Serenity's pilot and Zoe's husband. He has a bit of a childish side, originally becoming a pilot just to see the stars and often acting as comic relief in situations. Jayne, played by Adam Baldwin: Serenity's resident muscle. A dim-witted former bushwhacker who joined up with Mal in exchange for a bigger payday than what he was getting before. Great with a gun, but he practically epitomizes the phrase, "shoot first, ask questions later". Kaylee, played by Jewel Staite: Serenity's mechanic who, despite never having learned the trade, has a natural gift for fixing complex machinery. She's the most innocent and compassionate out of the crew, often acting as the heart of the little family that has been crafted inside the ship. Inara, played by Morena Baccarin: A Companion (the show's equivalent of an escort) who rents out one of Serenity's shuttles in order to service a larger client base. She often looks down on Mal as a petty thief and won't hesitate to call him out for being an idiot or get in spats of argumentative banter with him, but she also maintains a respect for him and his code of honour. Her status as a Companion brings an air of respectability for Serenity that is all too often hard to come by out on the frontier. Book, played by Ron Glass: A preacher who boarded Serenity to travel the system. Despite his outward appearance of being a simple, good-hearted minister, he knows a surprising amount about the shady goings-on of the frontier and the inner workings of the Alliance. That being said, he often acts as the moral compass of the crew, providing a voice of reason to cool down the several hot-heads on the ship. Simon, played by Sean Maher: A former Alliance surgeon who acts as Serenity's medic. He boarded the ship and joined its crew along with his sister in order to escape the long arm of the law after breaking his sister out of an Alliance laboratory. River, played by Summer Glau: Simon's younger sister, a socially inept and mentally unstable super-genius who was taken by the Alliance and used as a lab rat for their most secretive experiments before Simon rescued her. Despite her erratic behaviour, Simon and her are a part of the crew, and that means that Mal and the rest look out for them, for better or worse. I would highly recommend you watch the show. It's on Netflix and even though there's only 14 episodes (because it was untimely cancelled), it's amazing. I'm also practically begging for the follow-up movie Serenity to be released on Netflix as well.

IMO it just donst look very good and i watched half of the first season. Writing could be better same as the acting. Feels like they pushed characters while not giving others proper backgrounds or development. Some parts are imo very cliche. So i would just give from what i saw. 5.9 out of 10. Its ok but again imo does not meet the hype. Now i wait for the salt. My fries are ready.
