Yoona. I want to first address your musicality. To this day, you have one of the most honest voices I’ve heard. You simply let it come out naturally, and the thoughts you have in your head just flow out into your lyrics. You know how to tell a story with your voice, and it feels very authentic when you sing. You have such a sweet and delicate tone, and your voice just fades into the instruments that it is laid on top of. It’s as if you capture all of the ways a person can feel and express it using your voice. The beauty of your lyrics combined with the rawness of your voice creates a sound so wholesome and awe-inspiring. You really open up and you look so vulnerable when you are singing. You truly have a gift and have used it in the best way possible to mend hearts and bring people together. On top of this, I think you are a phenomenal dancer. What I love about you specifically, is that you are so focused when you dance, but so relaxed at the same time. You pay so much attention to every little detail of your movements, ensuring that you execute them fully and entirely. You are also very animated with you dance. You are energetic, bubbly, and have so much charisma. Your facial expressions are also telling of your magical performances. You movements are smooth, but also so diverse. You have most definitely paved the way for others to follow in your footsteps and help find themselves musically. You have contributed to some of the most legendary songs and performances known to the music world. Your lyricism and decisions as an artist are so individualistic and can only be created by your musical outlook and perception. There is no telling how you will change the future of music, and we can’t wait to see how you will define this generation in the future. As much as I love your musicality, I love your personality as well. You always listen to the viewpoints of others before offering your own, and are extremely considerate of their interpretations of the world around you. You uplift others with your platform and use your voice to speak about those who you feel really deserve it. You make others laugh and brighten their day in any way that you can. I know that nobody knows you better in this right than your members. Through the years, you’ve demonstrated your loyalty to them countless scenarios. No matter what it is you were facing, you were there with them to make sure that they didn’t go through it alone. Just being there for them has made all the difference, and they would have felt so lonely without you being in their corner at all times. I know that you reside in each of their hearts for different reasons, and you are so special to them in their own rights. You’ve dealt with problems on your own, but if you had to put them aside to focus on your members, you do it without wasting any time. You never missed a moment to let them know how much you truly cherish them and how much you time with them has shaped you. You are part of a history that you helped make, and the love that you have for your members has revealed your true character. You don’t even have to be together in person, and your members will always keep you with them wherever they find life takes them. They will always have you to thank for making it where they are today, and for being responsible for some of the greatest moments of their lives. They can be fearless and achieve their wildest dreams because of your unwavering support and confidence in them. I want to personally thank your family and parents for raising you and helping you become who you are. It’s likely they are a huge reason, if not the biggest reason you were able to take this path. They likely are your biggest motivation and have helped you through whatever you needed them for. If you ever you feel broken, truly lonely, or lost, I hope you remember your family in those times. Although they are not physically with you, they are always in your heart and will give you the strength to move forward. They have always been, and will always be your greatest supporters. You really have always treated us like your family, and we feel more like one because of the love and respect that you give to us. You want us to know who you are, and you willingly open your world to us through your music and other outlets. You’ve given us so much of yourself and your compassion is felt in all that you do. We recognize how much you have done for us, and I think I can speak for most of your fans by saying it will be hard to repay you for all of the love you’ve given us. We will always spending our days proving to you that we will reciprocate that love and give to you all of our hearts in return. I hope we are a home for you to return to like you are for us. Like your members, you’ve helped us get the most out of life and showed us a world we never thought possible. I know you’ve been through a lot, both professionally and personally. You’ve dealt with a lot; from loss to your own emotions. You quite possibly could have been confused or worrisome during your life for multiple reasons, and left these feelings unattained. There are days where you might have been forced to ignore your feelings because you felt there were more important matters. This is more unfortunate than can be explained, because you always deserve to feel how you need to. However, on behalf of your loved ones, I can say we are so beyond proud of you for making it past all of this and coming out even stronger each time. You turn your pain into productivity and find a way to make it positive. Rather than letting it bother you or hold you back, you find a reason to out it behind you and learn from it. This takes an abundance of perseverance and willpower on your part, and you’ve proven you can make it through anything because of it. Whatever happens later on, you can deal with it head on, and though it may take awhile, hard work is always rewarded. We are overjoyed to see you happier and better than ever after all of the difficult moments that were thrown at you. We hope that you can keep this mentality to survive the severity of any situation. I hope that this birthday makes all of your dreams come true, and that you can accomplish all that you want to on this special day. It might be hard to think about, but I hope you can look at yourself and the massive amounts of hearts you’ve touched in all areas in the world.
