I am a nurse and it's totally normal for your baby not to burp after you breastfeed. You technically don't even need to burp your her after you breastfeed because as long as sweet layla has a good latch she isn't swallowing air like she would with a bottle:) keep being an awesome mom!!

Boxcar children series is one of the best. Our journey with it started with my older sister who I shared a room with reading to me at night. We read the whole series and my brother and sisters and I then started playing Boxcar children. We turned the large train table down in our basement into a boxcar by covering it with sheets and blankets. We had the best times using our imaginations to create adventures and plays and so much more. Our childhood was so different than what children do or see now. As a teacher I have been constantly amazed at how little so many students use their imaginations while playing and even when we would write stories in class. I would start with my students on my reading rug and we would brain storm ideas and sometimes it was like pulling teeth and if one came up with a great idea 5 others would say it on their turn. Other times especially if we had been reading and learning about a specific topic or kind of stories they would be able to get ideas from that and we would write it together on my Smartboard which is one of the best teaching and learning tools out there.

Whenever my youngest wouldn't burp I would put her up on my shoulder. And walk my fingers up her side. It kinda tickled so she would squish to the side then I would do the other side. She would burp every time.

Please get the boys to wear their helmets when biking , gage really hit his head when he was at the skate park and all casey did was laugh
