This is interesting: the Chery Jetour Traveller and the Leopard 5 use exactly the same cabin and platform. They differ in the mechanics and equipment, but they are indeed the same vehicle. Take a close look at the sides, the dashboard, and the identical dimensions.
Only hard core Toyota fan boys and girls would even bother paying the Toyota Tax to buy the Prado/landcruiser 250. If you have no bias you'd buy this in preference.
This is literally a Ford Bronco Sport, and they are not hiding it…… Which is good! Because this is a overall better car and Ford should learn a thing or two from it.
This is the EV I've been looking for to make the jump from our beloved Jeep Grand Cherokee. It may not have the 780l (seats up) boot capacity of the Jeep, but it looks like it won't be far off that. Something that's PHEV with 100+km pure electric range, and also has some off road toes for the odd beach driving & camping getaways. PLEASE bring this to Australia. The BYD Sealion 6 is getting closer to convincing the change to EV, but no where near the off road chops or cargo capacity of this beast!
You should check the cost of importing it and if you can find a place for maintenance. If both is ok, I personally would go for it. 35k USD for 660 hp + 32mpg is just nuts. find out how much importing would cost on top of that. I live in the USA, I have zero chance of getting this.

Normally I'd agree but please point me to what it is an imitation of as I'm not seeing anything out there, other than its big brother that is anything like this in configuration or performance.
There's nothing that can be termed imitational in this car. Not even close. BYD are also so far ahead in battery tech development - 100km plus on pure electric is a deal changer. And 600+ HP in a compact vehicle like this is honestly insane. Well done BYD. Now, we need this vehicle in RHD.
