| Fangxu Yang (杨方旭) - Crazy Volleyball Actions | Women's VNL 2018
Yang Fangxu (simplified Chinese: 杨方旭; traditional Chinese: 楊方旭; pinyin: Yáng Fāngxù; born 6 October 1994) is a female Chinese volleyball player. She played in the 2013 Montreux Volley Masters.
The press revealed that Fangxu tested positive for doping with erythropoietin (EPO), which stimulates the growth of oxygen-carrying red blood cells in the body. Fangxu was banned for four years (2019-2022) by the China Anti-Doping Agency (Cada).

Yang is a very important asset to Team China. She is the one spiking with the fast rhythm like USA. Will cause additional confusion for the middle blockers!

For attacking Yang Fangxu was very similar to USA opposite hitter Andrea Drews. Both were left handed and spiked extremely fast. For defense, Yang was much better than Andrea Drews. Too bad, doping scandal ended her volleyball career.

I don't think she'l ever return to playing even after her 4 year suspension is up. China is very much like Japan and Korea; all about saving face. Although it's stronger in Japan and Korea.
