Judge Scott McAfee and Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis-two key figures in Donald Trump’s Georgia election interference case-are hoping voters will let them keep their jobs as they face elections today in Georgia.
McAfee, who is presiding over the state's election interference case against Trump and 14 other defendants, is running against Robert Patillo in a nonpartisan race.
Meanwhile, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis faces challenger Christian Wise Smith in the Democratic primary. Willis will face voters for the first time on Tuesday since she came under fire for a romantic relationship with special prosecutor Nathan Wade, whom she hired to oversee the Trump case.
