I clicked the fan to lower it and then try to shut it off and it will not shut off no I cannot make the fan go higher or lower. I have to shut it off on the wall switch instead. Can you help me?

My wife gave me a five blade Fanimation with the remote you're showing. What a piece of shit. I cannot figure out how to work the fucking thing and I'm smart. She's smarter than me and she can't figure it out either. I'm ready to pull it off the ceiling and throw it away. One guy said not to install it on a oh what matter does it make. Hate this thing.
