Crazy how you went through all the effort to recreate this even though the official remix is gonna be ripped in like a week. Mad props though, this is incredible
Not all people are capable of distinguishing between different piano and guitar samples. I once showed people two differently composed together versions of Ghost Battle Jazz remix, one beta and one completed, and they didn't hear the difference. I could understand them not noticing the different drums, but the solo in the full version that is completely different from the beta? And yet they failed to notice it. Human mind is strange. *I edited out the pecking phrase that got everyone triggered. Rightfully so, but pestering a guy for his foolishness is a touch too much, no?*
This one has a different feel to the one in the trailer, though It feels kinda more echoey, and towards the end it has choir voices that, as far as I know, can't be heard on the original; so even when the original drops, I can see myself listening to this one again
I understand this isn't exactly the original, but it sounds incredibly good and super close to the original, and it doesn't have any background noises, so thank you very much. What you've done is amazing.
Imagine the final boss herobrine he acts like steve but godly and notch gives steve his armor battle of the gods final battle and this music is in the center 1v1 god mode.
I like how Sakurai said they couldn't add the music from the original game because it would be too slow but then this song gets in. Have you heard the original version of this song? It's so slow!
The English translation said it was because the music was too slow, what he actually said was that there were problems or something, most likely C418 declined on his music being in the game
I find it odd how the calmness of the music was the biggest problem yet they have pure unaltered 'environment noise' with birds chirping and wind blowing etc as a track for pikmin, how is that not calming lmao
The memes made us forget that steve is not only a legend in his world, but in videogame histrory as well. I thinl people should have more respect for this character.
IsAndréSo I wonder why you guys freak out so much about an enderman as an alt and yet besides being a midget you guys had that weird reaction .... When I saw it I just said to my self man they really gonna put that skins.... yeah this is not weird it’s kinda common to see it
Agreed, people act like Minecraft didn't flip the gaming world on its head when it was in BETA let alone when it was officially released. Smash Bros Ultimate is a love letter to gaming in its entirety.
Kungdiddy13 When 1:53 comes in, I am jolted with an electric feeling of emotion, that feeling of running toward the light after being held back by the darkness. When the chorus comes back in, I cry of jubilance because I finally made it. Victory is mine and breakfast has been served.
@@dandyspacedandy I think cause they wanted to make it more energetic. Which is understandable. I feel like they could have done a pumped up remix of the original ost. Look at the Aria of Souls from Persona. It's normally calming, but they pumped it up when Joker stole Waluigi's Smash invitation
I have been searching youtube for almost a week for this one track and every single time It either has background noises or is remixed and I think this is a perfect substitute
Went343 Nah bro, that doesn't mean anything. The character is currently not avaiable, so it's basically impossible to get the original rip of the remix. That's why these recreations are so impressive
@@WentwentLive I was exaggerating but the point is that since Steve isn't actually out yet I have no way of putting the official track into my playlist
Guys do you agree this song is awesome and is calm at the same time if I was playing a match online as steve and hear this I would bop to the music instead of fighting
People doubted his chances, and I a Minecraft fan was starting to doubt it too. But now he's here, and the music just makes me so happy and almost telling me, "Congrats old friend. Let's have some more fun now." Gets me on the verge of tears sometimes
It would be like Mario not getting in. Steve is an ICON, the best selling video game of all time. It would be absurd of he never got any sort of even reference in this game. Now if only they added my boy Master Chief...
nah I always had my hopes for him lmao my absolute most wanted character and it's not even close now I want jonesy because it will look like a shitpost having minecraft steve next to him LMAO
It was supposed to be but it was scrapped also umm where’s skeleton costume or ended dragon final smash it would’ve been cool but I know they didn’t want to go crazy p.s 10 hour version let’s make it happen
As I said once before: Minecraft isn’t about the memes and cringe, that’s want the community associates it with I don’t like the Steve the community created, I like the Steve in smash, the embodiment of the spirit of Minecraft
Another awesome thing they should have done was add VS Dark Samus from MP2E and/or MP3C. There are actually a LOT of tracks I wish were in this game, especially from Final Fantasy and Metroid. Diggernaut and Sephiroth would have been outstanding additions to the Track List.
I picture this as being all of the smash fighters (even the villains) playing a song all together, welcoming all of the new fighters, each one joining in after they get their spotlight, then, as the chorus kicks in (which I see as being some of the characters) is when Steve shows up, to show he truly is legendary, and because it’s his song.
@@curtandrewsjr.8163 dude make your next reply already sheesh you are taking so long my god, DUDE ITS BEEN LIKE THIRTY SECONDS HURRY- Nah but seriously, I can’t wait for Steve.
I still like the music they made though, it's just something about really well made music with alot of effort put into it that you can tell and appreciate
I don't really understand how their managed to turn Halland/Dalarna into an epic fight song like this when the original version is calming yet they couldn't turn a song like Sweden into an epic fight song
The day before he released I was like: Imagine if they put steve in. Now I'm trying to get to know everything about steve in smash. You gotta admit we all wanted steve but we never really were prepared for it
@@MagmaticSpirit I didn't really want Steve to get in, but after seeing his moveset, looking at his reason for getting in, and listening to this beautiful piece of shit, I'm finally opening up.
Thank you for doing this. This song makes me so damn happy, so hearing such a high quality remake of it is all I could ask for in this final week until he releases!
At first, I didn't really like how the minecraft style clashed with the rest of the game. but after seeing them in action, I think they'll be really fun to play with and I'm happy they're finally included
I couldn't blame you I was like, what is this song? Then I searched it up and found out that It was from Minecraft dungeons, I'm the biggest fan of Minecraft dungeons. But thanks to smash I've been listening to some of Minecraft hidden gems, I know Minecraft has always good music. But between the minigames, Minecraft dungeons and Minecraft earth, there are some bangers hidden within those games.
started listening to this on loop since yesterday cause i cant wait for october 13th at all, and i gotta say you got the song down rlly well from just the little bits weve heard of it in the background
The fact that people find steve a boring a cringe character and in general hate the character makes me sad since mc is one of my favourite games and steve is the only character ive wanted in smash.
Smash has fulfilled so many childhood dreams for so many people. For older folk like me, they were characters like Megaman, or Terry Bogard. Hell even Sonic. This game's generational gap in terms of characters is so huge it's insane. But people have to remember that Steve is someone's Cloud, someone's Banjo Kazooie. A dream character that they've wanted. I'm so happy that you got the character you wanted my dude. Anyone who hates you, or what you like just because it isn't what THEY wanted can kick rocks. Get ready for October 13 and have fun!
I agree, but I think the transition from Halland to Dalarna is done better in the original theme. So it’s got both superior and inferior bits. I also can see why the originals ending part cuts off the majestic bit. It makes it easier to loop in a way that doesn’t have Halland dominate the piece (thou whether you’re fine with that or not is perspective).
Ah yes, the perfect song to play while beating down your opponents in Smash only to have your victory steak served hot (or cold and moldy, heaven knows how long that steak sat in Steve's inventory).
This is the anthem of the people who were determined for so many years to add the embodiment of a fan favorite into an epic-ass fighting game. He may be a low-graphics blocky indie child, but he's OUR low-graphics blocky indie child. Love you Steve, glad to see where you've made it to today.
This is extremely impressive! Now that the real thing is out, the only things I noticed you didn't nail were the reharmonizations of the chords that happen at 0:52, and the choir "oohs" that happen during the section beginning at 1:03. Very cool.
if I'm honest, I prefer this version more than the official remix. In this one it feels more dynamic while the other is more majestic, both remixes being equal between the two.
Thank you so much for your effort. I really could not wait for this masterpiece even if it will be really soon available. Was just hoping for someone to remove background stuff and you guys did so much more
I love this song... as an extremely happy minecrafter i tried really hard to hold back the tears during steve's reveal. It really just goes waaaay back for me in my lifetime... my family never had the money to buy us anything extra as kids so when i got the chance to jumo onto someone else's internet i would see minecraft videos imagining all the amazing things i could build and all the things id do in the infinite game of minecraft, it was one of the biggest moments of my life when finally from me working on the side to get my own money i bought the game and started building my own creative world which ended up being bigger than i expected and so much fun... minecraft was there for me in the hard times of my life when i just needed some place to jump into while i have my headphones on playing music and my thoughts and ideas running wild, i truly believe minecraft is a series that we need to keep alive in gaming forever, its a universal gateway into the world of gaming for anyone looking for something extremely complicated or simple at the same and easy at the same time, i truly do believe minecraft might be worthy of a title of the perfect game.
