Funny how Bill Frawley would later play another landlord -- Fred Mertz of "I Love Lucy"! Funny also how Lucille Ball has a featured role in this movie, in the opening number "Bring on the Beautiful Girls".

I love when after Fanny finds out her husband gave the sweepstakes ticket to the landlord, she tells him "You should drop dead!!" Husband: "Uggh, I wanna just jump out the window" Fanny: "Who's stopping you?"
