Just got Fanny and was so confused because no one explained why she moves a certain way when throwing cables. Everyone just showed combos or tricks but never explained why it worked. By far the most in depth explanation I've found! Thank you so much! Now to refresh and rewatch!
It is cool bro, but you know that fanny has received few nerfs over time, plus the constant release of new heroes that can easily counter, and ohh boy how easy it is to counter her in high rank, I guess that is the main reason that there is a decline in fanny players, and new players will have harder time learning how to play her. Just imagine someone decided to practice fanny on classic, and first match he faces khufra... Most people will throw their phones out of frustration, also the fact that fanny is still blue buff dependent makes her extremely bad pick for the current meta, wether you go 1-2-2/2-2-1/1-3-1, all will have to give blue buff to the midlaner, which is probably the main reason that fanny almost never make it to the pro scene since the game release. Either way, I would be very interested if you somehow can play her without blue buff, or you can play around her heavy counters like khufra, kaja..etc
I can tell man, I'm mythic and main fanny, I've been playing and training with fanny for 3 years and when the enemies have more than 1 cc hero is hard to play with her, even with experience +if you play on solo q is even harder with the trolls, AFK, jungle-stealers.. hope fanny will be how it was before on 2017.. Still I play fanny on rank now
I believe I am a great Fanny player but sometimes you have to go to Basic so that know your mistakes. Don't let ego stop you from learning more even the Basics. Thanks Gaming Addicts.

Almost none of youtubers have got the basic principles of fanny's direction. Here I'll explain. The first cable, denoted as C1, also a vector, propels fanny to the direction C1. The 2nd cable, C2, propels fanny to the direction of C2+C1. In other words, Fanny moves in the mid angle of the 2 recent cables.
It is also important to understand Fanny’s passive. This will explain Fanny’s combo (2-2-3-1-2). By giving prey marks to enemies, it will increase the damage from Fanny’s ultimate. So that’s why the preferred combo is to hit the enemy 2 times with cables (second skill) and followed up with ultimate. If you are against enemies that know how to dodge fanny, it is enough if you leave a prey mark 1 time and then straight away ultimate. So the combo would be (2-3-1). Fanny combos are situational depending on how good the enemy is. Every pro player started by becoming a walking fanny. It all comes with practice. Know your weakness and try to practice over and over again.
doing cable isn't much an issue , the real difficulty is to know where the 3rd cable will go practice makes perfect and i understood that. you should work on memory muscle for the 2 cable to gain the microsecond to have time to think for your 3rd cable.
My first hero was Fanny(Early release of Mobile legends) , I tried to use it once but it's hard because I thought the 2nd skill was useless for the enemy heroes. I tried to cable everywhere and find out that the wall was the solution. After years and years of training I was able to perform and execute cables in their perfect places. Another tip* Learn this from watching a lot of Mikasa. You can just wall spam and basic attack. Much better and stop you using energy most of the time. It would be better with true dmg or other dmg stack also. For diving in a tower with a full of squad. Just wait for someone to cc your teammate first, or wait until the minion arrive. More minion means more vamp, but it can also ruin your energy if you don't know how to cable right. Last thing is map. You can learn a lot from mapping a lot. It'll help you position yourself to assassinate the enemy, and help you coordinate with your teammate. Also one more last last advice. You don't need 3+ cable combo to kill a enemy. Just 1 or 2 cable should be enough. Example: just throw a cable to catch the enemy. Waste less energy and help you combo. So 2-3-1-2 Bonus!!!! If theres more than 1 enemy that has cc. Throw in 2 cable in 1 spot, i know its wasting energy but at the same time you'll be faster and the speed will produce more damage. Combo: (2+2)+(2+2)+3+ basic attack+1+2. (Skill set in number, bottom is 1, middle is 2 and ult is 3.) Hope this helps

I don't know why but I feel fanny's energy goes down way too fast after the new project update, and since the jungle update you can't always go aggressive because of the new update you solely need to focus on farming and not ganking, fanny is always dependant on ganking and because of the jungle update, the exp and gold she's getting is not like the same so she have to always farm. As I said fanny is dependent on ganking the mm so if she does not have enough gold to buy items in the early game she will have a bad time, I always wish they rewind the energy nerf in when the old ml she is not that much buff dependent. Yes you missed something it is how to use 4 cable combos to travel form base to top or bot lane. Well the problem I am facing is that when after using 1st cable we hold skill 2 in a direction and the blue circle around the skill button ends then it automatically cancels the directed cable and we have to press and direct the cable again. Ok in 4 cable combos the main problem is if for example we in going from base to top throw a cable in right and then second cable left then where (left or right) and when to throw the third cable. If I throw it right it gets cancelled due to my second cable thrown right cuz at the time of landing tge third cable when thrown becomes antiparallel to the second cable and fanny instantly stops before I can manage to use the fourth cable. If I use it on left fanny bump into wall so quickly that I have seriously no time to throw fourth cable. If i want for fanny to land and then try shoot my cable as two cable combo the skill 2 timeout and the cable gets cancelled. If you atill dont understand just go in custom and do following Shoot you first cable and direct skill 2 for second cable but don't shoot it even when your first cable ends keep holding the skill in the designated direction you will notice that if will be cancelled automatically. This is the problem with me. Another thing is that I have seen pro players of fanny dodging enemy's skills and CCs they fly so faster that we can't even do a single thing . Another thing you missed is how to play like a god without buff and what to do if no buff is available all lanes and jungle is cleared and we have no option instead of diving into team fights . Also we aee good at using cables in top and bottom lane but bad at using cables in mid lane during fight not traveling. We don't know how to cable in lord and turtle area DURING FIGHTING . During fight we get so confused that we forget to see map or during looking at the map we get dead so please explain some map sence techniques for fanny so that we need not look at map during fight while using cable combos.

Fanny's cables depends on 2 cables Ex. If Fanny uses a 3 cables then the second and the third cable were the only one who is working and the 1st cable will be useless since Fanny's cable only depends on 2 cables

I learned a lot. It's my third day of practicing fanny and your tips made sense. I'm a tank user but I want to develop fast targeting and fast reflexes that's why I'm studying how to use her. So far, I'm having a hard time even killing an AI with a Fanny but I noticed that I became more fast and precise in landing my skills when using mages, supports and tanks these past few days. She now became part of my warm-up routine before playing rank.

The reason why I love fanny so much is even though you master all of the basics with this hero the bottom line is how much you could take the risk? What makes fanny users unique with each other is their confidence. Using fanny with more confidence can bring out the best in you instead of just sticking with the basics. Yeah you might learn all of the mechanics but the question is when are you going to pull it up? And the answer is up to you. That's why mechanical heroes like fanny always have a room in high rank games coz the more you take risks in your game and succeed, the more chances of winning.
Update: 3rd week of practicing Fanny, I can now do Straight cables and basic maneuvering. Faster hand response in other heroes as well. Studying this hero is good. Other heroes will became a cake walk, you just need to study their mechanics and positioning.
