That is such a cool Sonic Character honestly, he looks so simple yet so cool, my favourite design is probably his Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog one but yeah he is an awesome mascot
A indie game actually made something similar in a obscure polish point and click game. In the Reksio and the Magicians game, there was a character named Shreksio who lived in a cave in the Fairy Tale land and he was just a green recolor of the main character with Shrek ears 😅 Idk how they could include that in their indie game but it sure was funny. I guess it falls under fair use since it's parody technically though.
It sucks since people can make their own Sonic inspired OCs and put them in their indie projects like how Freedom Planet or Spark the Electric Jester did. Not all Sonic OCs are just lazy recolors of existing Sonic characters and bad.
