England’s Euro 2022 dream became reality as Chloe Kelly’s extra-time finish saw the Lionesses beat Germany 2-1 and secure the first major trophy in their history in front of a record-breaking crowd at Wembley.

I support the Republic of Ireland but respect due to England's women. They were amazing. The misogynistic comments on other You Tube posts are appalling. I saw one comment from a male that said any man who attended the final ought to hang their head in shame. What a complete knob head! Get your act together FAI and support the Irish women to make their mark in Europe and everywhere else.

It's disheartening. I'm a bit of an idiot for arguing with so many of them today but it's shocking how many people have a problem with the idea of women playing football. I think it stems from insecurity - the idea that the girls are being widely celebrated is too much for them.

It's a great culture n the mens culture of football is toxic full of fights, drunks, n chavy thugs! Embarrising last year when the men played italy so many fans let us down acting like chavs!!! I can never understand why people don’t like women’s football. Before anybody starts saying in the comments “nobody cares or they should be in the kitchen” it’s disrespectful. Be proud of what they’ve done for England. No need for this stupid negativity about women playing football. But for me I really am happy it’s come home. Well done to the ladies. 😉

I used to play footie and my teachers wouldn't let me in the school team-boys only. Now I follow women's footie and I have seen how it has expanded so much over the past 10 years. I have season tickets for AFC Wimbledon Ladies and Chelsea women. I've been going for years and the crowds are getting bigger and bigger. This Euro win is the culmination of more investment and players playing full time and not juggling full time jobs with part time training. Good luck. Let's hope this is the start of a womems sport revolution.

I was really proud of England girls. They showed toughness and resilience. Not surprising because most of them are from up north. The girls down south are not bothered about football. They’re more into Love Island and The only way is Essex lifestyle.

You need to get your head together and your ability to realise that they are two different games mate and that each is just as viable as the other. And not understanding the ‘big hype’ suggests a deeply entrenched inability to understand and appreciate women’s potential. Not as intense? I was so stressed I had a frigging seizure after the match.

An undeserved win. Firstly, it was a clear handball by Williamson in the first half and the VAR supposedly saw nothing, very dubious. Secondly, Germany could not play with the strongest lineup, is unfortunate, but we would have won with it for sure. And lastly, England played dirty and wasted a lot of time. England can only win through cheating against Germany.🖕🤡

Both teams committed a lot of fouls don’t act like England played dirty while Germany were saints. Just because Germany couldn’t play with their strongest team for whatever reason doesn’t make England undeserving. Things happen that means players can’t take part. Alex Popp was got injured in warm up and couldn’t play. Beth Mead got injured and had to be taken off. They won fair and square.

Firstly, you don't speak for the worldwide population, secondly, the BBC viewing figures for the final were over 17 million, the ticket sales for the tournament were over 500,000 and there was a record attendance at Wembley of over 87,000, so finally, the evidence clearly proves you're talking complete nonsense, but thank you for making a complete moron of yourself in public, how amusing 😄
