Depends on what you have. The Adamant's console is great on single-target builds, but the trait the ship comes with is not worth slotting. The Cyclone has both a wider-usage console and a decently flexible trait. If you have both ships already, its going to come down to your build. If you are asking which to pick up, again depends on the build but the Cyclone is a much wider-application choice than the Adamant. But we have several builds that use the Adamant's console! The choice is up to you.

@@stobetter Thanks for reply. I just break my first 150k DPS with my only free to play account when followed your instructions on the web site. I dunnot possess any high end consoles mostly are from reputations, C-Store and Lobi. Somehow I always have better results with the beam overload than with cannons - maybe its bcz of the consoles. I never use FAW's bcz of the threat that you get and mostly use stuff that reduce it. Since the start of Elite TFO's I am only playing them now and doing quite nice but it depends mostly from the team around me....but since they totally messed the economy with isomags now everybody wants to run elite TFO just to get them and doing so wasting my time and others with their non capable ships which cannot do over 20k dps and maps fail bcz of that. I had this issue very often where the whole team cannot get even close to half of my total damage done in a run. I am no DPS chaser, never was since I have started playing STO in 2013. I am playing for fun and for the lore and love themed builds but in last times I at least want to get as half as you have shown and done with your builds over the years, which means to get around 500k DPS is my goal.
