I flew from Ecuador to attend the concert and I slept at the airport, if you knew his story, you would know that he deserved all the sacrifice

Agust D , is not an ordinary rapper , he produce and write 95% of his music , and participate also in most of BTS's songs , the previous shows in NY and Chicago were fire , wish him all the best , and ARMYs who appeared in vid have fun 💜

Because the number of shows are limited globally, fan are actually flying in from the other side of the world and everywhere in between. That is how in-demand BTS is.

I was there Wednesday night. Our boy was PHENOMENAL!!! My only regret is that I didn't get tickets for tonight and Saturday too. Suga always puts on an amazing performance, but this was next level! The man did everything from of course rapping, to singing, to playing the guitar to playing the piano. 2 hours went by so fast. It's like time didn't exist. I traveled from Chicago on public transportation. It took almost 3 hours to get to Rosemont. Will I ever do this again? Yes! I will do it for any of the members. Camp out, and be safe...YOU WILL NEVER BE DISAPPOINTED. For those who don't know who Agust D/Suga is and what he does, I highly recommend giving him and BTS a chance. Your ideas about them are not even close to who they are. 💜

Their commitment is inspiring. I know Yoongi is feeling the love. It makes me so excited for him. Hope everyone is safe and enjoys the show 💜

I'm a huge BTS fan and I'm happy his tour is going great. If not for his upcoming enlistment, I'm sure he would have planned a bigger tour with more stops. It's sad that I won't be able to see him this year, but I hope to see him and BTS after their military duties are done.

I always believed that ARMY itself, they are not fans of k-pop. Being people of all kinds of tastes and ages, it is very varied. As for the reports or reports that say they don't know them, it's okay whether it's true or not, respect is paramount, above all, there's no reason to get angry. Congratulations to everyone who will enjoy the concert.

The reporter failed to mention that the reason BTS is on hiatus is not just for career vacation & solo work, but that they are also on mandatory military service, just like all other Koreans that are able to. That service should be considered a flex on its own since the US & many other countries do not have conscription & that would have been heard on the TV news by many viewers who don't know the band. This means that BTS will probably be the only band in world history that will become both fictional & non-fictional military, since they began as a military concept as invented by Bang PD. During & after service, they will now be able to handle real military-grade weaponry, wear actual bulletproof vests & learn to use real army bombs & grenades, just as that symbol of a grenade on their original logo. They will then become part of two armies instead of just one as before. And of course, know how to fight, as in "Fighting!". Yoongi will enter service after his solo projects, maybe by end of this year, however he could likely have a civil servant job, because of his shoulder. We will have to see. We hope nothing goes wrong & will then regroup as a band again by 2025 to continue their career beyond that. Patience is a virtue. Then a decade after that, BTS & ARMY will look back & see how short the military service was compared to many years they have been making music before & after.

I wanted to see him at Allstate since it's the closest venue to me (Texas) but I was only able to get tickets to the New York shows. Absolutely worth the extra miles though. He was amazing. Would fly across the globe for a BTS show. They take great pride in always putting on a quality performance and it shows. If you can afford it, please don't let distance keep you from seeing them. I promise it is worth it!

Thankful for your coverage for the concert! And just for people who don't know, well, bts' fans, ARMY as we call ourselves usually won't define us as kpop fans. You probably won't call yourselves 'americanpop fans' if you like Taylor Swift and go to her concert. Kpop is a industry consists of hundred of groups and artists and unique culture, and the truth is if you love one of them doesn't mean you are fond of all those culture (and of courses, other groups). And most of the times it is bts' fans fighting the whole industry so I guess people in the comment section doesn't like the way kpop fans is used here. I don't think it's a big deal cause this is a new report, nothing wrong about that, but just letting anyone curious know.

Not exactly a hiatus but they are enlisting in the military as a requirement for every able bodied men in Korea this year one after another with two already enlisted. Thank you for this coverage.

I heard BTS a few times on some awards shows, mostly their English language songs (not written by them, or their main producers) like Dynamite, Butter, Permission to Dance, etc. I thought they were catchy, and I was glad to see an Asian group pushing their way into the top spot for a pop group, but nothing about their music (those English songs I heard) stood out to me or excited me or made me interested to further investigate them. That was until a BTS song (written and almost entirely performed by SUGA aka Agust D aka Min Yoongi) popped up on my recommended videos and I didn't even know who was in the thumbnail at the time, I just saw that it said "BTS", but the guy looked angry and like he was passionately singing or rapping, so I clicked on it, and it was a song that SUGA wrote and that was used in a BTS concert, called "Never Mind". The lyrics (a kind fan subtitled it in English) really hit me, but before the lyrics even came in, that first piano chord hit me. The music, the lyrics, the style of rapping (I like some American rap, but I'm not a huge fan overall), really just hit a nerve, and after that, I started looking up SUGA's solo music, which I saw was under Agust D (his solo rap name) on Spotify. Because he's in BTS. And because he has a lot of writing and producing credits on BTS songs (the 3 rappers, especially SUGA and RM. write almost all of their own lyrics for BTS songs, as well sometimes the lyrics and/or music for BTS songs as well), Spotify started dropping BTS songs into my Agust D mix, and I started hearing lots of older BTS songs and just lots of good songs that aren't the few we hear most often in America because they're the English ones. So when I started hearing songs like Answer: Love Myself, Microkosmos, So What, Spring Day, Save Me, Not Today, Life Goes On, Blood Sweat and Tears, I Need U, etc. I really became a fan of this group. It was like when I started really digging into their discography, I (and I'm a music lover of a lot of international music, but. more rock, not much pop), I really quickly came to realize exactly why they are as big and popular as they are. Like The Beatles, you can't sustain popularity on cuteness alone. There's got to be something of real talent and substance, and BTS has got it. I get it now, and I hope some non-fans who are interested will check out some of the songs listed above and give them a chance. With the really good balance of rap and pop (they were originally meant to be a "boy band"/"idol group" it's called in Kpop, of 3 rappers - two rappers who would learn to dance, and one dancer who'd learn to rap, but that concept, their company didn't think in the end that it would be popular enough, and the company was broke and needed a more profitable idea, so the company auditioned and added 4 cuter guys, lol, who could sing and/or dance and then told the rappers, much to RM and SUGA's dismay, that they'd have to dance too, and *bamn!* BTS as we know it was born. SUGA went from not having ever really danced at all, to actually being QUITE good. He's definitely no weak link on the dancing front, as well, he's the main rapper and brings the fire to the rap line (in my opinion). RM is the poet, smoothly and cleverly rhyming English and Korean and using lots of wordplay and double and even triple entendres (SUGA does this too, but I think RM does it more and SUGA brings more fire - except for Cypher pt. 3 where RM goes crazy :)), j-hope is the real chameleon of the group. Again, they all are in a way, but j-hope can dance the best, AND rap well, AND sing well, and he effortlessly flips back and fourth between sweet gentle rapping like in Life Goes On, and a grovely rapper-to-be-reckoned-with sound in Mic Drop. I've become a big "BTS Rap Line" fan and it's all thanks to the serendipity of hearing his song Never Mind on RU-vid. I'll link that here, and my other current favorite two, People, and First Love. All 3 are passionate songs that have a lot of meaning and emotion, and even just really good advice for those who need it. It's not what I'm used to in even the rap that I do like. SUGA's music is the kind of MUSIC I like the most, and it happens to be presented in the form of rap.
