Back to the Future fans at New York Comic Con 2022 were in for a real treat when they discovered not only a screen accurate Delorean replica on site, but also the announcement that Back to the Future: The Musical was making its Broadway debut in 2023. I still hope they make a filmed version, to air on Netflix or Peacock. WITH THE OG CAST like Christopher Lloyd, and (hopefully) Michael J. Fox. Of course, the reveals at the end would work.

It hurts me that Broadway has been reduced to this. I was at a conference a few weeks ago with John Weidman, one of Sondheim's collaborators, and he talked about how new musicals used to be about the people who created the show, who wrote the words and the music or directed and choreographed. Now there's a block-long sign for a show like this, and the writers aren't even mentioned on the poster. Musicals nowadays are built just around the selling power of big titles. Sad.

@@Spacey1010 I believe you, I've seen the demos. It's not bad. I'm slowly starting to change my mind about this. I just hope reboot of BTTF will not exist.
