SPOILER WARNING: do not watch if you have not watched the finale episode of GLTAS, "Dark Matter" This was filmed at Moore's Deli in Burbank, California All will be well.
That was so beautiful seeing people who enjoyed this show just as I did. I was so glad that I wasn't the only person who had those same reactions. I loved how Aya and Razer are so perfect for each other. What I don't understand is how could they cancel this show!!! (Punches the wall) That hurts....
Yes, somebody is still here 7 years later and I’ll be here 10 years later too. My love for this show goes on, long after it faded away. Just like the ending, it’s a bittersweet feeling. :)
this was a great series. and i shared all these reactions. even yelling 'KISS HER YOU IDIOT!!!' although my favourite line was what hal says to aya when she asks him what is the emotion he is feeling and he says 'regret'. oh, gets me right here (thumps chest)
First and foremost, thank you Mr. Volpe (and Bruce Timm, Jim Krieg, and the whole creative team) for creating such an amazing series! Each episode warms and breaks my heart, even after repeated viewings. I completely understand the reactions from the fans in this video! I did not discover this series until it came to Netflix this year, but I'm so glad I did! I devoured every episode in about a week. I cannot begin to express how amazing this show is, on every level. Everything from the story and characters you actually care about to the sleek animation and epic soundtrack, I love it all! I grew up on comic books and super heroes, so I'm no stranger to Green Lantern - or to Bruce Timm's Batman: The Animated Series (another favorite from my high school/college years). The balance between pulling from existing source material and creating new stories helped to make it so wonderful. I felt about the same as these fans when I watched the final episode, and still get teary when I re-watch it. So hopeful, but so many more stories to be told. I don't know how realistic the possibility of a resurrection (Netflix, you paying attention?), but from everything I've read or seen online, hope continues to burn bright in the hearts of many loyal fans, more than a year after cancellation. I just wish I could do something to make a difference to bring this amazing show back. Cartoon Network completely missed the mark by airing on Saturday mornings for the 6-12 year old age group. This story is made for a much larger audience. My 8-year-old daughter likes the show, as does my husband, but this almost 40-year-old mom is simply enchanted by it. As expected from a female fan, I do enjoy the sweet and wrenching romance (so well written without being Disney syrup), but I also just love the themes of hope, friendship, honor, loyalty, and adventure that wind through every episode. The show never talks down or simplifies its message and some of the lines and character exchanges are simply brilliant. Finally, I think folks like you and Jason Spisak show incredible loyalty back to your fans by continuing to post, share, and blog on various things related to GLTAS. Very classy! Thank you!
Came back to the video after realizing the show has been added to HBO Max, and I re watched it to boost numbers on it. I still love it to this day. It was a pity I was only able to make it to ONE meet up at Moore's Deli due to work (Not the finale shown here unfortunately. ) But it was wonderful meeting you Giancarlo. I believe I had you sign one of the GLTAS DVDs
I have yet to re-watch 'Dark Matter.' Re-experiencing those moments from this video choked me. It was a beautiful ending to the season, and getting to share those emotions with fans and creators alike has become one of my most precious memories. Thank you, Giancarlo.
As a guy I can totally blame the onions...... To Iya..... she had more of a soul as an Artificial Intelligence than any human, animal or alien...... She will be missed...... And to Razor....... that ring was well earned...... god speed my friend...... god speed......
I love how everyone is just going "Kiss, kiss, kiss!" because that's exactly what I was doing XD. And then how everyone just screamed with joy when the Blue Ring came ^_^. I just started tearing up again. Why do I live on the East coast??? *sob*
I just found out about this show and I finished the whole 2 seasons in one go. All I can say is that it breaks my heart that there's no 3rd season anymore. Yet a damn awesome show !!! I'll miss all the characters but most of all aya and razar. hehehe! I sure wanted to see him in blue lantern mode.
Bambino Fulgencio thank you for checking out and taking the time to tell me that! It means a lot that the show still holds up even now. We went off the air like 5 years ago now!
When I watched the episode, I KNEW what the reaction was going to be to that final shot. Makes me giddy to see that not only that I was right, but it was the exact same reaction *I* had. Amazing, amazing show and a damn good finale!
Jason Spisak posts videos in which he voices Razer saying the Blue Lantern oath. Check it out, he's doing some pretty cool stuff there. You know that a show is amazing beyond limits if even the voice actors care so much about it.
Omg,so much emotions with GLTAS HELL,revive Green Lantern: TAS. I still hoping to see more seasons !!! Are you hear me, Volpe ? I’ll always watch your show, and I waiting new seasons. Please, DON’T LOSING YOUR CHANCE !!!
