Either she had a shit reputation or a shit boss already, because there’s no way the case would’ve been entirely lost (and therefore her FIRED), due to a now biased jury. He might’ve been anticipating that outcome (or afraid of superhuman liability), but either way it doesn’t make sense. I don’t know how common it is for a whole jury to be replaced, but the trial would more likely just be postponed until a new group could be sourced. Infuriating writing at its finest.
