I notice the Twins didn't actually renounce their claim to Tatooine, they just left 'cause they didn't want to fight the new syndicate. They're probably hoping that Fett and the Pykes will weaken each other so they can just come back later and take over without opposition.

The mention of the *Night Sisters* brought a huge smile on my face, and made me think of Asajj Ventress. Imagine seeing a live-action of this clan. 😎

I'm just gonna say it, Joseph Shirley's music on this is William's level of quality. Simply stunning!

What got me is when Boba threw the Tusken youngling’s stick in the fire. The youngling used that stick on the monster that attack both him and Boba, which gave Boba the advantage. The youngling used that stick hoping he could one day be a warrior. I am sad that these Tuskens were slaughtered by criminal forces. But it shows how good the writing is in this show by giving so much depth and culture to a group of people with little dialogue.

If those Vespa's showed up on one of the Core worlds during the Prequels or Clone Wars, no one would've batted an eye.

The witches of Dathomir who rode the rancors was from the (now legend) book The Courtship of Princess Leia. That’s a great book and those force witches were awesome.

Boba has gotta recruit Black Krrsantan later on. After all, he let him go because it was just business. Real recognize Real, right?

That bike chase scene was... okay. It definitely felt off. Like they were moving so slowly when the scene was making it seem they were speeding. In any case, thank you again for your compilations, they're the things I look forward to the most after the episodes themselves.

The monastic chant during the Tusken funeral, "Allit Ory'sha Al'Din" is Mando'a for "Family Is More Than Just Blood."

One detail that I absolutely love is that the funeral dirge that's playing as he encounters and then burns the bodies of the Tuskens is in Mando'a (the Mandalorian language). The lyrics are "Aliit ori'shya tal'din", meaning "family is more than blood"

I don’t know why people saying this episode is bad, it was quite enjoyable and seeing Boba Fett acting more diplomatically is a nice change of pace and reminds me of Jango Fett

I find it funny that Disney never considered relevant and/or they didn't want to use details/data/lore from the stand-alone novels to create this new era in the SW universe. But here comes Favreau and Feloni practically saying Frak it and using all the details they can insert everywhere. With the Witches of Dathomir comment, I screamed! I read a LOT of those novels and love 'em! Man, can't wait for next season!

I’m not convinced that speeder gang wiped out the Tusken Clan. I think it was a frame job by the mayor or the Pyks to have their enemies fighting each other so they can just squash whoever is left. I could be wrong though.

This episode is setting up some crazy

As my understanding. Filoni and Favreau said that all the Star Wars shows in the Mando universe where to have characters go from series to series. Does Din come to help Boba and bring Bo and the Nite Owls. Since we saw Bo Katan in Clone Wars season 7 tailing Ahsoka. As far as I know Bo had no love for the Pykes. Maybe Din brings Mandalorians to help Boba.

I don’t get the bike hate. They’re kids. They want their bikes to be hip and cool and stand out. Though that speeder chase was kinda eh. This level of grit and action was more what I was expecting from this show. It’ll be very interesting to see what happens this week.

I am impressed after the fight against Krrsantan (awesome wookiee - he makes Chewbacca look like a cuddly Ewok by comparison) Boba instructs the injured Gamorean be taken to his bacta tank. Now that is good to see Boba treat his 'underlings' extremely well and with mutual respect - Jabba never treated his Gamoreans with such kindness and respect. Boba's treatment of his new rancor is amazing (even better seeing 'Machete' as the rancor trainer). It's the little details as the series goes along that shows Boba Fett as a good leader. The Twins were amazingly done (love the twisted detail of one of them using a poor rodent as a cloth to mop the sweat from his brow and armpit - at least he didn't eat it). The fun chase scene with the Mods pursuing the speeder feels like a homage to the chase scenes from Raiders of the Lost Ark and Temple of Doom.

Some people have been rolling their eyes at The Mods, thinking them out of place. The real-world Mods in London came from the disaffected and unemployed; bored kids with nothing to do but cruise around on Vespa scooters. Sounds pretty authentic to me. My only question is how that female Mod is able to keep such beautiful fair skin in Tatooine's harsh climate.

This show needs a catch-phrase...IE: "This is the way", "I have spoken"
