Kinda undercut but the unnecessary heroism though. For all he knew they had distracted long enough and the team had already succeeded or died. He just seemed to be trying to prove something to himself. They could have worked it a bit better but was still a nice moment.

This might be the most tense episode this season or even the whole series. Especially the end which showed Duffer Brothers definitely didn't pull back. With Max it's most definitely she barely survived to where if Vecna had her for 1 more second let alone millisecond she would be dead. Plus R.I.P Eddie he was a cool character and this was his year. May you enjoy played board games somewhere else gone but not forgotten

Every season... EVERY season, they gotta introduce a new super-likable character only to kill them off in the same season. Who's gonna be the unlucky soul for Season 5, I wonder? One thing that is interesting to note is we still haven't seen One fight against Eleven using his full power potential. In Hawkins lab he used up a lot of his power and that is one reason why he was defeated back then. And then in the finale episode, One and Eleven were fighting in the astral plane not in person. They both haven't faced each other physically yet with their full power potential. Now that El has her full strength back and Vencna is at the height of his power (And pretty pissed off with getting crippled in the finale) the final confrontation between the two of them is going to be legendary.

Eddie died but he died like a hero , Max is in a coma but im pretty sure that shes going to wake up after a while cause The Duffer Brothers wouldnt just make Sadie Sinks character die like that , and Vecna might have won this time but Eleven and the other’s are going to make him pay in season 5. He is a really great villain though , “Five Star General” my ass , Dustin was so wrong about him , Vecna was the one that has been controlling the Upside Down this whole time , he is the final villain. This season was so amazing and now tghat we now that Vecna was the one who was behind ewerything like possesing Will and Billy , all we have to find out is how was the Upside Down was created in the first place , how is it stuck in the past and how did Vecna get his powers in the first place , i really hope that season 5 will give us satysfying conclusions. And who knowe’s maybe we will see Eddie and the other’s who have died again one last time as flashback’s.

I know this might be a very very unpopular opinion, but I think that they should have killed Max off in this season because it would’ve added even more to the emotional impact and power for the group to fight Vecna in the next season. Also, Elevens power to resurrect felt a little too soon and I feel like they should’ve kept that till season 6 just like Jon Snow.

@@safcjoe7062 I’ll have to kind of disagree with you on that part because those 3 are super keys and essential members of the group, plus killing them off would’ve just been bs and wouldn’t have made a whole lot of sense. But I do agree with you about them surviving that long being bs because they were being strangled by the vines for like 10 minutes or so and would’ve died halfway of strangulation, making their survival seem pretty unrealistic. But here’s what i would’ve done: i would have had them caught by the vines and strangled when Vecna gained control of the situation and abducted El and Max (again) and started discouraging El saying that they were out of hopes reach. That’s when I would’ve done it.

I have a theory since Max is still alive and yet the portal still opened. I think that while it did open, I don’t think it’s big enough for like the mind flayer to enter through and I bet you season five it’s gonna be all about trying to make sure the portal stays closed and getting rid of the mind flayer and Vigna for good.

I didn't hate Jason, he wanted to avenge the death of his girlfriend and in those days it was common to blame satan for the strange things he saw, and when he found Lucas he worried about Max and wanted to save her Too bad for him, it would have been great to see in the following season with the group facing Vecna
