I think the wheels on the shoulder connected to the rod, can move out of place in order to avoid clashing with the cab, when moving arms higher than shoulder level? Maybe….
Thanks again as always for the transformation tips dude, i for sure had forgotten about the toes. As he was waiting for me to transform, he was just standing on the shelf all wonky cuz i had forgot that the toes moved. 😂😂but yeah he's fun! I'm gonna take your advice & grab gears too
@@Paik4Life🤣🤣🤣🤣 it’s very relaxing to me, I definitely enjoy the process‼️ My Pipes finally arrived he’s officially my new favorite FT figure! I really enjoy animating him🎬🎬🎬‼️
I prefer my XTB Krank for a realistic truck mode for Huffer. But Pipes was a slightly retooled, possibly more modern/futuristic day cab truck with quad headlamps, so I like having this different mold for Pipes.
Wonder why they didn't just go with a metallic white paint to match up with the Toon. Great review, always handy to know the steps required to get him right once out of the box.
Yeah just a little curious given that the colors they show in the artwork are clearly silvery. Again, not a huge deal on the champagne color, just an odd choice to me.
On the front wheels untabbing, isn't it just to allow for more outward shoulder movement? You just skipped that in articulation, and with the wheel moved there is clearly a joint there for fairly good range of motion if the wheels aren't blocking it.
It looks like the same champagne-y silver that they used on the recent Lupus reissue. It works great on Lupus but I think I'm with you and would have preferred the same silver as Rig/Huffer for this one...vac-metal chrome would have been even better for super shiny pipes! :)
Toy Red Visor all the way! This one looks cool. I really hope Deadend is next. I am not in for the rest of the Stunticons but Deadend is one I have been waiting for.
Deadend will likely be next year. Schedule for the rest of 2023 is: Gears then Swerve then Scourge with Brawn reissue and Toy Jazz redeco slotted in somewhere :)
im going with the blue eys and he looks so good ! and the sound he makes when you put him down i can hear the heft to him cant to get mines ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
@@Paik4Life Right out of the box a wing panel wasn't attached..I was able to reattach it..surprised it didn't break..Apparently those QC stickers don't mean anything
@@kennethkiser6975 at least you were able to fix it. And even if you couldn’t, since it was broken out of the box, any reputable retailer should have taken care of you anyway.
You're entitled to your opinion about paint work, but if you was an '80s collector like myself you wouldn't care about paint work you just a picky person and like all you reviewers you expect perfection and I say to you if you want perfection go design your own if you can!!!!
Not sure what you mean. I grew up in the 80’s as well. To say that everyone who collected in the 80’s wouldn’t care is obviously a massively incorrect assumption. You can have your opinion and I’ll have mine. Why do people like you feel like you have to judge someone else opinion like theirs don’t matter? Also why broadly say all reviewers are the same in their opinion? This is one of the things about the fandom that I can’t stand. Fellow collectors should not be berating others for differing opinions. How is that at all helpful or beneficial to the community?
