For my thoughts it was so open in the first half, I would of changed to a back 5 with the wing backs pushing up on the counter so it would of been a lot tighter and harder for the open football we watched in the first half. But we can all judge after the match onwards and let's get a win in Wednesday and then build on it.

Let the only regular left back go on loan, use a wing back in a back four, alongside two centre backs inexperienced in playing that formation at Prem League level, leave a good centre back on the bench, punishment inevitable. That's the problem, not the player's fault. They were set up to fail.

Maybe ait nouri is an ideal replacement for neto he's a forwards thinking player not a left back. That saves us the money and allows us to buy a decent left sided defender. Shamethat Hugo Bueno went to Feyenord as he is a proper defensive defender who would have would shored up our defence without having to buy . Lemina and Gomez don't need help in midfield as they play as a pair.❤

Poor beyond belief. We need a back 3/5 we're not good enough with four even if we hadn't sold our best defender with no replacement we don't have the players. Can't make a left back out of a wings back and it really showed. It's been a long time since we won a game and we've sold our best players. Needs sorting and sorting fast.
The demise of the whole club is alarming! Mr Shi needs to be removed and Fosun bring in some new ideas and strategy! Love Gary to bits but he's out of his depth im afraid! Wolves squad solid for a mid table finish. All about how they are managed and improve. Unless there is chaotic results and a bad shift in managerial changes, Wolves prob finish slightly below mid table maybe 14-15

Most his wolves career has been rwb when he moved to spurs they tried a back 4 and he was garbage athletico Madrid he barely kicked a ball in a back 4. But this isn't about bashing him it's about playing players in their positions in the premier league. We cannot afford to experiment. GON shouldn't hide behind Chelsea's spending. We all know how they performed last season. And he got new signings too - Lima and Rodriguez. And he was warned about last week's performance, that it was complete shite. If GON thinks he can carry on without teaching and coaching the team to defend, press and do one-touch passing, he will take the club down to the Championship. He has been lazy not training the players to press and do one-touch passing. Players are strolling on the pitch instead of running at the defenders. Why is Chelsea's Cole Palmer such a great player? Because he puts in a solid shift - he's always running at the GK, at the centerbacks, whoever. Compare this to Larson, who can't be bothered to even make a feint at the GK. Walks, strolls, takes it so easy. Thinks all he has to do is be in the right spot and the balls will be served to him, and he'll be a hero of the club. Doesn't work that way - maybe in the Norwegian leagues, not in the Premier League. And the fans are stupid too. They are getting ready to call Larsen a top player for scoring a goal here and there. No point if the opposition are going to score SIX. Six goals mainly due to the hard work of players like Cole Palmer. Except for Cunha (and Alt Nouri who gave the assist), the forwards were having a nice day in the park, taking a quiet stroll. Hwang never defends although he is supposed to stop the attack at the wings. Even if he doesn't get to play in the prefered position (center) and has to play in the wing, it doesn't mean he can be lazy and shy away from defending and attacking and pressing. Anyone who doesn't press should be cut from the team. A manager needs to lay down the law. Coaches and players get paid millions in salary. If pressing is beneath you and teaching pressing is not what you do - you should go play or coach in the Chinese league or the Championship or below that. If the defenders are the only ones pressing and defending and tackling, it doesn't work. Not anymore in the PL. Likewise, the defenders need to know how to pass the ball well. And GON also neglects the goalkeeping. He hasn't instructed the GK to stay at the goal line at all times (preferably in the center of the goal), and Sa has been coming out trying to stop the goal with tackling. GON also has to train the GK to do long kicks well. If Sa can't do that, he should be restricted to doing short passes. Lots of things GON hasn't been doing. Tweaking the position of the players is the bare minimum a coach should be doing. The players looked confused. They got easily dispossessed and couldn't escape the press. They looked like an amateur club compared to Chelsea. And once again, don't talk about billions. Billions does not equate automatically to elite performance. Look at PSG., And only last season Chelsea were very mediocre. And LCFC won the league even though they did not spend billions on players. It's the coaching that is the deciding factor. FOSUN made a mistake giving GON a 5-year contract. They had the mentality that good coaches are rare. It's the opposite. LCFC also panicked and signed Brendan Rodgers for 5 years after only 1.5 years at the job. He took them down to the Championship and now LCFC is still paying his wages. Wolves are now saddled with GON for 5 years even if he's a dud.
