Anthony Fantano aka theneedledrop reacting to the new EP/single series SCRAPYARD I by Quadeca on his Twitch stream. He reacted to both A La Carte and U Don't Know Me Like That. Quadeca clips is back!!!
Fantanos chat: "This is not it" "Whack" "Kind a mess" Fantano: "But it's sick" Fatanos chat: " This is really nice ngl" "This is good" I hate yall 💀💀😭😭
ok but the thing is, people's opinions don't change based on what he says. everyone acts like that to promote the narrative that music critic fans are brainwashed. people just tend to be scared of sharing their positive opinion if everyone is negative, so if anthony says it's good, they feel comfortable saying it's good. still annoying tbf
@BarriLIVE there is absolutely truth to that, however it's blatant people change their opinions this easily. Ever hear of mob mentality? Influence is also in the word influencer , and sadly some are influenced vastly more than others
@@BarriLIVE you basically said the same thing. "everyone acts like that to promote the narrative that music critic fans are brainwashed. " and many of them are. It's not just being scared of sharing positive opinion, the same applies to sharing negative opinion. they are just scared of being "wrong" and wanna seem "right" so their opinion do change based on their "right" critic who knows what he is talking about...
its not even that, people who said its ass dont suddenly say its great - its just after fantano says its good the ones who were calling it bad stop typing, which makes it easier to see everyone praising it.@@BarriLIVE
Off the first listen I was like, “huh… ok ok… ok this is pretty catchy” by the end. Then I realized it’s one of those songs that gets better the more you listen to it. It’s very unique which I love. Also the production on Brakence’s part goes crazyyyy
Brakence part really saved A LA CARTE for me, his verse was so comforting to listen to. The amount of layers he put on his vocals is a master work, sounding angelic as always the man never misses!!!
Idk why but I genuinely get so annoyed looking at fantanos live chat, it feels like a room full of people trying to prove how smart they are for their music tastes, every video I see of him the chat is always shitting on anything that sounds different, until fantanos says he likes it then the whole chat goes "oh yeah so great"
It’s crazy because as a fan, when I hear a song I feel like I could vaguely guess what fantano’s opinion would be So idk if the people in chat are like, not actual fans or something???
i love that every single person in the chat has their own name for quadeca there's a new one every few seconds 😭 edit: ones i caught were QUANKA, QUADONKA, QUADIKIII, QUADERKA, QUADANKA, QUADAKENCE, QUARTERLY, QUAKE, QUINKLE, QUADINKLES, QUARANTINE, QUINOA, QUADONICUS, QUANTUMN, QUAGGA, QUACKERS, QUEEFDICK, QUASADILLA, QUADRIPLEGIC, QUASAR🤣🤣
Personally love U DONT KNOW ME LIKE THAT and on the fence with A LA CARTE simply because of quadrumvirate's vocals but the production for both is so vibrant and lush its addicting
A lot of people seemed to be saying that Quad sounded weird or they think he accidentally mixed things incorrectly with vocals, but its clear it was 100% an intentional decision. Quad can sing on key like a gat damn angel if he wants, he doesn't need tuning or mixing to make himself sound traditionally good. To me, these recent songs are Quad trying to pave a new path for his sound and truly make something unique. We all know he could release a hard rap song, love song, sad song, a damn pop song, or anything that sounds just like everything else we've heard. But, for an independent artist, taking risks is something he should take advantage of and based on the fact that he's getting streams, people are watching his music videos, and he's got fans, he doesn't need to make music for a specific sound, he just needs to make music he wants to make and people will listen.
Nobody gonna talk about how bro just started working out for 10 seconds then stopped and went back to listening to the song. He didnt even mention it. Just went straight back to what he was doing 😂
so many people in the chat saying they dont like it(a la carte) but the wierdness of the song makes me like it even more... wierdly, more than quadeca's other songs(the others are still good dont get me wrong)
I love Quadecas growth and his project from last year, only thing I think he can improve on his his shaky delivery. I’m not a big fan of it, but we’ve heard him sing normally so I’m guessing it’s intentional. not my favorite delivery tho
