When idol began, people could not become famous on TikTok, for example. These 2 women would have eventually made it without Idol as their talents are undeniable. But, you don't get superstars from TV shows anymore because that is not the medium that makes superstars. Viewership will continue to dwindle as media overload increases.

Kids nowadays have no idea how massive American Idol was in its prime. We'll no longer have another show like it that's so popular globally but also that produces incredibly talented and highly acclaimed artists with long-lasting careers.

It’s the “girl, we went through it….but look at us NOW” attitude that has permeated Fantasia’s interviews with JHUD and Kelly Clarkson that is so special. The American Idol experience was a crucible. But each of these women know it’s has opened doors of opportunity they never imagined and wouldn’t trade it for anything. Pride in themselves, proud of each other. 👏

I think statistically she must be in the top 5. Fantasia has a lot of hits and she also sells a lot of albums. Her self-titled second album and Back to Me are still on my album playlist and just timeless classics 😍.

Kelly you look great by the way. Fantasia seem so down to earth and settled with her husband. I'm glad they are best friends that's the best relationship to have.
