Imagine the countless hours spent doing this. And now imagine the person who made this is not walking amongst us anymore. But sure thing he left us something to remember him, something I bet he would never thought of. Amazing
@@PatRick-lj2zs yep. People die. We all do. We are just dead people who haven’t died yet. The amount of time we will spend dead compared to the time we are alive...
Cartoons used to be an art form. The cartoons nowadays are made with computers and you can the tell the difference. Todays cartoons are nothing compared to what I watched as a kid and still watch today.
The animations today may be technically better, but this bout of fantasy is unmatched today. But mark that there were a lot of these animated films in the early days.
Can somebody tell me why I'm crying rn like, there's something that makes me burst into tears. I'm born in 2008 and something's really strange about this. I'm literally crying guys🖐️no joke
You would think that cartoons would get better after the first animation ever. But yet we still have some of the lesser cartoon network shows, nft cartoons, some of the trash on Nickelodeon, and more. This is and always will be leagues above thos in terms of quality, care, and character. The little hat guy has such a personality for a character who doesn't talk.
This one's Fully Animated Cartoon by French Charicaturist Émile Cohl in 1908. This Animation was Made from 700 Drawings - 2 minutes long. And the best examples of Traditional Animation. ✨️😊🏆
@@umm995 bruh its literally 1908, they dont use stone tablets at that point if this was a series of drawings carved into stone in something like 2000000 BC it would be fine
Phantomstrider, Never thought I'd see you commenting on a video like this. I'm not gonna gush, but me, and my little brother love your channel. Keep up the good work
It seems so simple, and yet I can see exactly how this style of animation translated into classics like Popeye and Felix the Cat. It's almost like this is a display of the gesture drawings for those kinds of characters.
I hope this man had some sort of idea of what he started. Today we have CGI and video game graphics that a nearly totally realistic. I hope he was aware of the greatness he achieved. Somebody has to get the ball rolling and it takes a genius mind to do so.
Felix The Cat, Mickey Mouse, Popeye, Tintin, Betty Boop, Bugs Bunny, Tom & Jerry, Woody Woodpecker, Charlie Brown, Astro Boy, Yogi Bear, The Smurfs, Rocky & Bullwinkle, Fred Flintstone, Scooby-Doo, Garfield, Optimus Prime, Son Goku, Homer Simpson, Wallace & Gromit, Sailor Moon, Woody & Buzz, Spongebob Squarepants, Shrek, Finn & Jake, Steven Universe, Bojack Horseman.... Before we had ANY of those guys.... we had The Clown from Fantasmagorie.
@@sanidhyasrivastava9008 anime just means animation in Japanese so this was the thirdd anime. Humorous Phases of Funny Faces was the Second oldest I forgot the first. Also anime isn't just one company. This is talking the companies.
como es posible q esta caricatura este en youtube si la caricatura fue creada en 1908 si la primera camara capaz de grabar fue en el año 1956 y youtube fue creada en el año 2005 ._.? (todo los años que dije los encontre a google)
Humans. The first animated character was designed to resemble a being that simply intends to make us laugh. A clown. Funny, isn't it? (Copied from a thread)
I wish they can make a full length movie reboot about it and its called "fastasmagorie returns" coming August 17 Edit: First was August 17, 1908. Now its August 17, 2024
Whats crazy is that this one person started CARTOONS, like, the whole ass concept... Makes you wonder what else we're one person away from discovering...
Wow, the fact that this was done so long ago and we can still watch it is amazing! When I looked it up I didn’t think I would be able to watch it. This is awesome!
