Notice how each player drags the club head on the ground for literally 12-16 inches back before it begins lifting! That is a main factor in the club face staying in proper position for the shot shape they are playing! I personally have began focusing more on that first 12-16 inches and have seen much better ball flights, and ball striking….. look up some old Moe Norman videos and he started his swing 20 inches or so back so that his backswing stayed right where he wanted it, and he was known as the greatest ball striker ever!
after researching every swing and reading all the comments taking lesson after lesson, there is one thing nobody speaks about and it's the main point of the swing, watch these pro swings, they all do one thing, and you will miss it, all the greats do it, from bobby jones, Ben Hogan, they all do it.
They all start the weight transfer and unwinding just before the end of the backswing. Naturally drops the hands in the slot and ensures the clubhead lags behind for power
One thing all of these guys do well, which your average Joe does badly (me included), is getting that shallow attack on downswing. Even when I catch my Driver just right I'm still descending far more steeply than these boys, which is why I struggle with accuracy and consistency.
They ALL rotate shoulders back square to spine angle. They ALL rotate shoulders through steeper than on back swing. I'm not saying that's what they are focused on, but they ALL do it
Should do the top 10 from each yardage. 200 , 180 , 160 etc etc etc! Also show front view too alternating, for example, 10th ranked left side of screen, down the line , right side of screen front view. Make for a longer video and better engagement! Plus I’ve just given you like 10 videos of content haha. Loved this one mate, keep uploading!!!!!
