The fantastic Fightin' Texas Aggie Band performs its first halftime drill of the 2019 season. This marching band is awesome! The Aggie football team defeated Texas State. This happened on August 29, 2019.
I am an Aussie, Ex Army, love a good parade. But this, OMG, is the best parade I have ever seen. Rock my freakin socks off man. And the gold medal goes to... The Fantastic Fightin Texas Aggie Band. Just brilliant.
HERE is The Savior HalleluYAH translates “Praise ye YaH” YaH is The Heavenly Father YaH arrives via the TENT OF MEETING YaH was Who they Crucified for our sins ** NO FEMALE INVOLVED WHATSOEVER ** - Hebrew Book of Isaiah Isaiah 42:8 "I am YaH; that is my Name! I will not yield my glory to another or my praise to idols. Isaiah 43:11 I, I am YAH, and there is no other Savior but Me. Isaiah 45:5 I am YaH, and there is none else.
This is just ridiculously phenomenal!!!! How how how! Such precision while playing instruments😳😳. Congrats to the choreographer and the participants themselves 👏👏👏👏👏
@@Bullzeye1000yds I read different report and thought it was excessive. Another said about 7-10 hrs weekly Monday-Friday. With computer printouts it is much easier than the pre computer era.

I was lucky enough to be in a special HS band. Performed in Cotton Bowl parade and halftime show in 1973. We had a national record of 19 straight years of Sweepstakes awards, it grew to 34 years before a group messed up and earned only a second division rating in sight reading. For a band to earn a Sweepstakes, they must earn a first division rating in Marching. A first division rating in sight reading and a first division rating in Concert performance. My band did this for 34 years!! We've been invited to perform in every national parade and professional sports venue. Our choir had a command performance before Queen Elizabeth II, the year after our Rose Bowl invitation and Cotton Bowl performance. We were only a 3A size school small, but mighty. We practiced 10 to 15 hours a week, we performed new halftime shows each week. We had only 3 months to perfect our Concert performance. We won every type of competition we entered even against the 5A HS in Houston and Dallas. But it took dedication, practice and love of music and our band mates.❤❤❤
My daughter just started her freshman year (high school) first marching band experience. She loves it and I'm super excited to be a band parent. This video is extremely inspiring!!
I was in a marching band in high school. Let me tell you this is no easy feat. Lots and lots of practice in those formations. Hats off to the mighty A&M band.
I was in high school marching band (Pasadena High School) 1975-1979 and then in college from 1979 to 1983...and you are right, this takes WAY more hours just to learn the marching let alone the rehearsals on the music and the private lessons and practicing of each of the individual students. I miss all of it, but I'm so glad I did it and that it gives me an appreciation for something as spectacular as this!
@@wheeningschnitzel its worth: for the one doing it dedication hardwork consistency and some much more including learning music and be part of a team the list can go on for ever to end up to one simple thing...be happy and proud of what you love doing. Its worth for the one listening: The compassion of hard working individual, some kid might even be influenced and by doing so he build his own character . For some they love the music and other the view it gives to see synchronized move. At all end up to appreciation. If you think that you can put worth on a ⚖ your life must be sad . To you K.W doing a McDonald's preview is worth lot of money but to me its a waste of time . See worth is only worthy from the eye of the one looking at it . We call that life and freedom of choice . See one thing is worth so much more than you think even if you think its not worth it.
After spending 31+ years in the US Army, one can't help but to appreciate the precision and formation excellence of this Aggie band. I've never seen the reverse-your-course maneuver done so many times and looked so good as this band did during their halftime performance. Well Done Aggie Band!
Having done plenty of parade drills in my time in the "Pipes and Drums" band in the Army.., this is the best routine I think I have ever seen by such a large group. Awesome.
I first saw this band more than sixty years ago. It took my breath away and still raises the hair on my neck. It has its own unique style, not matched or copied. It is all class.
I absolutely love the American marching bands no country can hold a candle to these bands. The best, most entertaining marching bands in the world. Amazing. Tremendous. Superb.
What about North Korea? They do it with thousands of people! Even their children do it better than these clodhoppers. This is something military dictatorships practice. You know? Simple things for simple people.
Do you believe there's an afterlife? What do you think what happens when you die? Are you a good person? Let's put that to test through some of the 10 commandments: Have you ever lied? (Even a white lie) Have you stolen anything irrespective of it's value? (music downloaded illegally off the internet, a pencil, etc.) Have you taken God's name in vain? (Example, Om-g, Or saying the name Jesus when you hit your foot on accident, etc) Have you ever looked at someone with lust? (Jesus says if you even look at a women or man with lust, you've committed adultery with them in your heart) If you've broken even one of the commandments, (And there's more than just 10 if you read the new testament) you're guilty of all. James 2:10 [10]For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all. So if you die today, God is rightly justified in sending you to hell. But God takes no delight in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn and live. Now what did God do for sinners that we wouldn't have to go to hell? He sent His only begotten Son to die for our sins. So Jesus (God manifested in the flesh) came down and dwelt among us to be a sinless sacrifice for our sins. Leviticus 17:11 [11]For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.’ So there's two things you must do to be saved. You must repent and put your faith in Jesus. When you repent, you don't just simply confess (Especially to a priest... Catholics aren't Christian) But when you repent, you must express sorrow and great remorse and regret over your sins because your sins have offended a holy God. And after you've don't that you must COMMIT to not sin ever again because it offends God and because God gives you the strength to overcome. So don't wallow in your sin. And when you put your faith in Jesus, put your faith in Him as you would in a parachute. And after you do this you will pass from death to life and you will be granted forgiveness and mercy from God and He will replace your heart of stone with a heart of flesh with new desires and you will then love to do that which is righteous rather than desire sin that is only pleasurable for a season. Thanks and God bless you whoever sincerely reads this with a humble heart. If you need prayer, give me your name and let me know whatever you may be dealing with and I'll pray for you.
I have never seen anything like this... NEVER EVER EVER.. ABSOLUTELY SPELLBINDING... AWESOME... THANK YOU 👍👍👍🇺🇸May Rose🙋🌹3-9-22GA USA. My...My...Texas!!!
My late husband marched in high school too. He told me blowing that trumpet, counting your steps, making sure that stride was in sink with everyone else wasn’t easy. That was a P.E. credit that was well earned!
I have a lot of fun watching the A&M Band! The camaraderie, the precision moves and formations are off the charts! I can definitely see why Aggie fans are so proud of their band; they are an institution in and of themselves!!👏👏😊💯❗❗
My brother went there in 1988-92, and was in the superb Corp of Cadets. I recall the excellent band and to this day absolutely love watching them. The spirit of the crowd is amazing and no one leaves at halftime seriously! Now my daughter goes there and my nephew. Yay.
In my 55 years of watching The Fighting Texas Aggie Band I have never witnessed a better performance. This put a tear in my eye and a lump in my throat. Thanks from a huge fan that happens to be a Horned Frog.
I was in the Australian Army for 2 years and when we were learning to do our parade marches is was hard getting the timeing right and finally getting it so we were all working together took weeks. It was nothing compared to this though. Watching this brought tears to my eyes. This must have taken months to get right. Very impressive. Never been to an American baseball game or football game but this would be amazing to watch live. Fantastic!
Maggie S - This is mind boggling - They should be at the Edinburgh Military Tattoo. When watched 2020 - it didn't seem to happen the same day as the game - just as brilliant. True team work. May you stay well & safe in these slightly chaotic times. Rgds New Zealand
Как раз таки дрессурой такого не добиться. Здесь любовь к своему делу и профессионализм. Дрессура - это когда всю роту наказывают за то, что кто-то ногу не поднял. И вот она как раз и не приносит результат.
Watched the phenomenal Texas Aggie Band many times in late 1980. This brought back wonderful memories of those weekends at the football games I hardly understood. But the halftime -- IT was the show! Go Aggies!!!
Having watched my brother practice for 4 years during the summer and after school for 4 years for their performances makes me appreciate all the band members hard work.
I am Brazilian and lived in Texas for over 3 years. Had a great time and made good Texan friends. This post shows Texans hard working and commitment. Go Aggies!
Hello from England, the complexity of the marching and playing musical instruments at the same time boggles my mind, I'm worn out I need to lie down, that was amazing to watch, well done to everyone.
A&M has a spirit I’ve not seen on any other campus!! And the band is outstanding! The straightest lines, sharp turns and spot on with the music!! Miss not going to any. My husband was an Aggie and made me a Aggie want to be.
Simply phenomenal! The crowd of Aggie cheers supporting these amazing talented fighting Aggies is electric! Outstanding sincronzation beautifully orchestrated A&M never disappoints! Gig Em Aggies! 🏈💕👣💫 Shining Stars of our God's goodness are you all bonafide team spirit personified yeah everybody!
Reminds me of days marching in the band at Drake University in the 70's. We had a phenomenal leader! Thanks for the memories of not only marching at Drake, but a Vikings game, a Green Bay game and the college pecan bowl game at Witchita Falls, texas!
Frank Varela Do it! Not only is the band amazing, but the student body is a sight to behold. You won’t ever experience a game like one at Kyle Field in Aggieland.
Yes, do go if you can. I've also heard that the Bush Library and Museum is a wonderful place to experience, also. Sadly, I've never had a chance to visit the museum. But that is on MY bucket list. Lol
Mastery.... never have I seen better precision....quality sound- expert! Love halftime shows and competitive field demonstrations as our fall favorite pastime!
I have to disagree. I dont think they looked good. I think they looked AMAZING 💖. It's no wonder you're a proud parent! Well done to them all!!!😁 I wish we had entertainment like this at our games!!
came across the "aggies" by mistake but glad I did! I'm English born and bred, but appreciate marching bands - kudos to whoever choreographs the "aggies" routines, a huge BRAVO from UK 👍👍👍!!!
I NEVER get tired of watching the Aggie Band perform. That is procession and I have not seen another college band achieve such excellence (excluding the military academies).
North Korea does bigger and better ones with thousands of people. It is the mark of a military dictatorship. One step away from giving a ticker tape parade to Tanks and missiles.
What a wonderful rhythm! What work and what commitment! What contagious enthusiasm! The crowd and its soldiers are like a big heart beating before my eyes. Completely admiring 😍 😘From Paris👏
@@denicesanders4586 , Oh, I was hoping you were going to say Paris, TX, but that's okay. We'll allow all kinds of foreigners to appreciate our Aggies. 😉
They aren't soldiers. Not yet anyway. They are part of the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets which undergo ROTC training while at the university. Many will go on to become officers in the US military after graduation.
Love this band! At the very end of this video -when the second to the last band member (leaving the field) waits on the last band member - my heart just smiled! The comradery of this band is beautiful.
This is truly a brilliant and very touching performance thoroughly enjoyed!! Imagine a world focused on beauty in all its forms, especially kindness without a hint of physical or mental aggression against any being. Just a heart warming thought.
SO PROUD OF THESE AGGIES!!! One of them is my nephew, and I just cry every time I see the band perform knowing he’s a part of the greatest marching band ever!!!
I have no clue how many times I have watched, listened, been brought to tears from this half-time drill. Only shortcoming for me is 'Patton'. When the Fightin' Texas Aggie Band launches Patton, the Corp, the entire 12th man goes over the top, next level crazy every single time. My fish year, fall '70, the Corp rotated in to auditoriums for view of the movie release. My only real regret then was, it was not yet my privilege to Whoop. Today, that is my ultimate expression of appreciation and enthusiasm.
Bravo! Bravo Outstanding! Previous commentor was Right this should have been the Superbowl 1/2 time show 2022!!! Not that crap we were fed!! Listen to that audience!!! I've been in USAF marching Band, Congrats to this Director!
