Fremantle's most decorated player led the club to its first ever Grand Final appearance, played 353 games and kicked 700 goals - both records for the Western Australian side. Remarkably, Pavlich was named All Australian in defence, midfield and forward through his illustrious playing days.

Dude got 700 goals and only played half his career as a forward... imagine if he was a forward the whole time. Just goes to show how versatile he was. Could play literally ANY position and play it well! There are many top players who can't do that.

Sorry, but as good as he is, he is absolutely not the greatest ever. In fact there are active players who are better now than he ever was.

It’s an opinion as they are allowed to think he is the best that’s ever played. Many stats that makes a good footballer. I also think it’s very subjective I believe bont is best player with how he leads and his defensive efforts and I know a lot of people would disagree.
