Wish we had these options in the UK. It’s almost impossible to have a prefab modular home to live in here.

You could order one from Germany or Austria or Lithuania has a great unfoldable one that can be off grid too.Last time i looked it was 50k € Probably more now.

@@lydialaxy4841 you can also buy from Ireland, but while that is feasible to buy from an EU member, there would be issues regarding importing to the UK. There seems to be little desire from established home builders to embrace modular and prefab housing. Just lately L&G have backtracked on modular building and Ilke are entering administration. We do have park homes in the UK, but there are certain rules to abide to, how many weeks per year you can stay in them, they can’t be purchased with a mortgage, cash only, the site owner can up the annual site fees and they can also kick you off site if your park home is deemed too old. So not really a feasible solution really. You could buy land with planning consent for a modular home, but this is beyond the reach of most people who would be attracted to these homes in the UK. All of them are very nice it all depends on what the customer is looking for I guess. However I do like how you can customize certain aspects of the build.
