Fantastic strawberry jam full of fruit❤ Its preparation is very simple and fast. My friends, prepare amazing jam for your family 😍 It's strawberry season now, so don't hesitate!!! Strawberry jam is one of the best and tastiest, I make it at home every year👍
We need:
4 kg of strawberries (already cleaned)
2 kg granulated sugar (or more if you want)
Pectin (for 4 kg of fruit/ I used 40 g)
Citric acid (1 teaspoon)
Short procedure:
Cover the cleaned strawberries with sugar and mix well. Let the strawberries stand like this for 1 hour. Then add pectin and citric acid. Mix well and let it cook until the strawberries are soft. When the strawberries are already soft, we crush them. Then let the jam cook for approx. 15 minutes and check its consistency/thickness. Put the finished jam into bottles, twist and turn the bottles upside down. Turned like this, we let it stand for 20 minutes so that the lids catch. After the time has passed, turn the bottles back and let them cool completely. I wish you a good appetite🙋♀️😍
* Pectin is added as much as indicated on the bag. I put 2x20g of pectin per 4kg of fruit. The consistency of the jam is just right, thick, but if someone wants a thicker jam, add an extra 20g of pectin per 4kg of fruit/strawberries.
* I added 1 heaping teaspoon of citric acid. You don't need more, because strawberries are also sour.
* the caps on the bottle must not be damaged, otherwise it will not attach properly to the bottle. Turning the hot bottle replaces sterilizing. Turn very slowly when hot!!!
