Thank you for including the "walk around" footage. For me, the experience in the immediate surroundings is nearly as important as the house itself. Atessa seems like a great town. Save some of these great listings for when I'm ready, Dave!
Atessa seems to be a lovely town/location, but this property didn't excite us as much as some of the other properties. That being said, this property has a lot of potential and the terrace views are STUNNING!
Thank you for the walk arounds. Drove to Atessa when I came to Abruzzo for the April tour. Drove around briefly on my way to Lanciano. The streets were tight and with parked cars along the sides hard to navigate so I didn’t see much. Therefore, the walk around is much appreciated! It allows me to see the things I wanted to see, but didn’t have the time to stop and explore at leisure.
I do like this one - and I am really loving Atessa! I so enjoy your walk-thru's of the towns, so don't let naysayers make you change that up, okay?! Hope you and Silvana and your entire family have a most Merry (even a S-word!) Christmas!
These towns seem so clean, free of graffiti, and quiet! Are they really as they appear? Do you take your videos when the stores are closed in the afternoon?
I must admit, I’d be inclined to make the top floor the lounge, dining and kitchen with direct access onto the terrace through glass doors. Downstairs, I’d have two bedrooms each with en-suite bathrooms.
Thanks for all your cool videos! I absolutely appreciate that you always give a nice introduction to the location! See you next year in may on your tour David! Hope also to see Atessa though :-) PS. Wishing your wife and yourself a merry christmas!
Wow! Beautiful view! The lighting was also really good in this townhouse! And the 49,000 oh my goodness, that is so cheap! I though you were gonna say 1 maaaaybe 2 bedrooms, but wow 3 is very spacious, the til🎉e is goreous too. The one thing that could possibly be a deal breaker for me is the work that needs to be done on the walls and celiling from water damage. If i was more confident doing that type of work or had a husband that knew how to recognize and.fix that sort of thing, id definitly consider this house. Even the kitchen wasnt too bad. With a paint job and some new appliance it could be 100% in no time. 10:22
I lo e this house. I would use the first 2 rooms on the left of the house ( as soon as you walk upstairs) as a living room and dinning room. The actual “ kitchen / dinning room with the balcony will be a great bedroom with the bathroom close by .
Good work once again. Indeed a great terrace. It is not close to the airport though and not suitable for wheelchair etc. But it is very suitable for young families or those who can easily walk the stair and don't mind traveling several hours from the airport. Thanks!
You’re asking for very specific things. You’re not getting a house close to the airport anywhere near this price range, let alone a one story house done to your exact specifications, so you’re pretty much asking for a ground floor flat that you can renovate so it suits your needs perfectly. It’s just a very specific thing to look for because you’ve narrowed down your housing options from thousands to literally a few, if you’re lucky.
David, well done, and I do like it, amazing price. Will you be going to Umbria Tadino anytime soon? Looking for a place there....but for the money this is a steal....thank you.
Could you kindly walk back up to that terrace and walk up to the railing and turn the camera back towards the house please? And while you are up there, also look down on to the roof tops of the neighboring hoses? Thanks.
Odd question but, what areas in Italy get seasonal snow? We are looking for a winter property that gets snow during the winter months. Any suggestions?
In the Alps, if fortunely it were to snow, they use artificiale snow in case of little snow. Unfortunately there is no longer as much snow as there used to be due climate change
When all is said and done you figure you can knock it down ten grand, so with all the closing costs you are probably all in for 45-50k. You are looking at 150-185k to renovate (maybe even 200k, if you want to get fancy in the kitchen and bathrooms. So somewhere from 200-250k. The question is is it worth that investment, and will you ever get that money out again? 🤷♂️
Great potential and stunning views! Not for me and my wife, though. We want a home that is more or less move-in-ready…a place that needs a fresh coat of paint on the walls or new appliances in the kitchen would be fine.
How hard would it be to make the lower floor bathroom toilets to a shower area? That would be so much better, then the toilet next to the sink, is that an easy switch or not, I know nothing about plumbing, but the aesthetic part I do know what I like and a shower with a window view would be amazing.
😆 🤣 😂. Italians be like, you want to buy a room of my house? I think it's cool, but I have a hard time imagining a lot of Americans coping with the idea of common spaces.
Sorry, but this place is trash! Don't try to upsell. Being a bit more ethical may get you more customers. I was definitely interested in contacting you, but I am now hesitant.
