Summary: "Remember you are a princess, a daughter of the King!" Follow a 6 point checklist when looking for a guy; 1. Commitments 2.Humility( is he a here i am guy or a there you are guy) 3. Inspect his reputation 4. Initiative/drive 5. Inspect his self-contol 5. Inspect his truth(is his life build on the word of God)

My first reaction when I saw him pull up in this car was a judgmental one. I thought oh no that's a sort of a full-of-himself pastor kind of guy. Now that I finished this sermon I will be sending it to the teens at my church. Good stuff!

Guys, don’t chase after the girls that like “bad boys”. They aren’t the girls you want to end up with because the ending won’t be good. Look for a girl who wants a godly, humble leader. Girls, don’t chase after “bad boys”. Again, it won’t end well. Look for a godly man who treats you like a princess and looks to the LORD to lead him in everything. Look for a partner who will put God first in everything and always point you back to Him.

Adultery, abuse and abandonment are all valid biblical reasons to end a marriage. That is implied in the classic marriage vows. There's literally no reason to add those things as a condition to anyone's vows. JP totally missed it on that one.

If you divorce you cannot remarry while your spouse still lives. Mark 10:10-11, Luke 16:18, Romans 7:2-3, 1 Cor 7:10-11, Matt 5:32 and 19:9 all say the same thing. Jesus said what God has joined together let no man separate. Jesus said except for fornication and He was talking about the engagement period like Mary and Joseph. You even take a vow to death do us part.

If someone sleeps with someone they left / broke the marriage union it’s over. It’s not the chested on leaving the marriage, that person is now one flesh with someone else. So it’s pointless to put in the vows because it’s a break. Yes if someone joins another person and becomes one with them then what are you going to, be a threesome spiritually?

You have to find good Women, if you can't find women who won't look past income, you're not looking in the right place, and/or the right kind of people (not caring about money alone) are seeing issues that you need to resolve before they'll accept being in a relationship with you. The point is they are rare, but you have to find them, not vice versa (Generally speaking. Men initiate), and if they're actually quality, they won't accept someone who isn't striving like they are. (And I say this as a single guy not a 'condescending girl', I've seen your view myself and eventually found it flawed and limited.)

@Bruce Courtney i loved a man so much who only has a work with a net of $500 dollar a month. I gave my all and he is my first. I didn't see money or his physical appearance the hindrance to my love for him. But he broke my heart. Haha funny

Kinda fucked up that for men you have to check their references and do a background check. For women their past is whatever, long history of cheating, hooks ups, maybe ending up as a single mom in that whole process. In the same way showing a history that predicts a bad outcome. So why not tell men to be mindful of women’s references as well, interview the ex’s - because it renders 80% of women undateable? You know 70% of divorces are filed by women, because marriages start at a point where men ignored their past. The famous 7 year itch kicks in, a long past of variety in sexual partners and being pleasure and variety focused eventually catches up.
