My money is on Faith coming back as the first Golden Bachelorette. She did an interview last Friday and even said she'd do it if asked. Faith has a compelling life story (unconventional Mormon upbringing and not raised by her parents, homeless teen, ex-husband who she was still close to died at home last year in a freak accident) the kind of interesting story the producers of the show could and would exploit. Also, they look for a lead that can carry a show and Faith has the personality for that. And lastly, Faith got the proverbial "Bachelorette edit" on the show.

I agree with you. I believe he’s going to be with teresa. Someone is going to be heartbroken 💔

Hopefully Leslie becomes the Golden Batchelorette and finds a man a bit closer to her age . I think she is too hot for Gerry to handle.

Well people keep talking about the chemistry between Leslie and him, but they have more in common than what has been talked about. We already know they’re both athletic and like the outdoors and enjoy physical activities, but do we understand her ex-husband was in the restaurant business and was very successful, and Gerry is also has been in the restaurant business, so she probably knows a lot about it. Leslie is more vulnerable than T, and maybe that’s why I like her the best. She is sensitive and kind and would honestly try to work out the distance between them or anything else, including becoming fond of his family. Her comment about distance and her family just is saying to him that she won’t give up everything for him, but she will compromise and earnestly seek solutions because he’s going to be so important to her life.

Apparently some of those issues are also talked about on regular Bachelor/ette seasons, only not showcased because they don't fit the romance narrative. Rachel Lindsay has said she talked with her top 3 on Fantasy Suites about their financial situation and even asked for their credit scores, and it's likely multiple leads and contestants might have talked about that too on FS, especially the ones who aren't the youngest.

I think Teresa is much more suitable for Gerry. She is a smart cookie and successful in her business.

Always remember this is a reality show and people are cast for roles. My guess is they all agree to play like they are in love to throw off the true connection. All the I love yous are for ratings. IMO. What woman would agree to marry someone who just professed love to all 3 women? Gerry, have you forgotten your daughters and granddaughters are watching you toy with all the ladies’ feelings? Typically when people had good marriages where is people who are divorced sometimes don't learn from their mistakes and they take those mistakes into another marriage and people that had a good marriage sometimes have trouble understanding that so it's something to think about I think these two were meant for each other Teresa and Gerry😊

I kind of got messed up typically when people have a good marriage they know how to do marriage and now they're getting together they should do very well as opposed to people who couldn't work out the marriage and picked the wrong people so I'm happy for both of them very happy for both of them

Initially, I did not like Theresa. She was at the bottom of my picks. Now, she has grown on me. There is something geniune about her. She is the one - really mature. Leslie has been married twice and has emotional issues at her age.

I’m sure it will be very difficult for Gerry to give that final rose.

Although in the season preview there's a moment where he seems to be walking off with someone with bare neck dress and Leslie is wearing one like this in the next episode, as well as the person was taller than Theresa, so it's either a fake out from the wedding dress group date or it looks more like Leslie.

Very interesting perspective; appreciate your sharing. I had been rooting for Leslie but as the episode wore on, Gerry seemed to be hinting he wants someone more safe and stable.

She got his attention with her introduction with the wig and the walker and then her sexy dance and all that but I don't see it in a deeper way. I think Ellen was nice for him but he didn't have a strong connection with her. While I didn't like Teresa in the very beginning, I see now that she's the best choice for him in the long run.

I think it's the parallel between Theresa & Garry's lives that will give comfort. Familiarity, substituting so to speak. I'm not Anti Theresa but something bugs me about her I can't put my finder on. But I can see him chasing her. I wanted Leslie, but they do have life e periences that are very different.

I also wasn’t a fan of Theresa until this episode. I have warmed up to her a bit, but liked Faith more. I am not sure Theresa was all that innocent in her talking about how he came in to her bedroom to her to console her. I don’t blame the other one for saying “zip it”.

I think she is very competitive too much so, but this isn’t about if she can get a man. It’s about being truthful and vulnerable

Darn I missed the opportunity to watch this episode. It seems many gained more respect for Theresa, so I missed much.

I think he likes the depth Theresa showed here and her empathy, work ethic and sense of responsibility. She may be a better fit for his personality and lifestyle. I worry Leslie may be restless and not as good a fit in the long run? Even her brother told him he’s not her type at all.

I really like Theresa! She showed a lot of depth in this episode. Leslie is more of a free spirit to me. I think he is more physically attached to Leslie but everything changed after talking for hours with Theresa.

It's a shame that the good old days are gone...when the leads kept their feelings to themselves until there was only the F1 left. The multiple "I love you's" and "you're my girl", "you're the one"...are particularly unkind. I'm surprised that Gerry would be this cavalier and callous.

I can't even guess who he picks. Don't most people start out a new relationship with more chemistry and connection, than familiar and safe? Even at their ages, don't you want to start out with fireworks and not just a small campfire? Maybe that's just me.

That's what I was thinking, too. But, he was married ages ago, surely when him and his first wife were young and in love, it was exciting and new. It grew to become comfortable and safe. Perfectly said with fantastic insight . Leslie is fun and sexy and would be a great Batchelorette. But l think that Teresa has been the victim of the famous Batchelor Nation bad edit . I also think Garry was very impressed that when Theresa’s husband said that they needed more money for health insurance she went out a got a job , a good job . I think there is a lot more to Theresa than the bad editing she got !

Leslie tries to be as serious as she can be but she just doesn’t have enough life experience and skills as Theresa has. Women who divorce over and over don’t have skills necessary to pick and keep a partner. Theresa is smarter about relationships and has similar experiences as Gary. Leslie will not understand him as much as Theresa. Leslie will be better who is similar to her and then they can grow together. Gary has more life experience and it will be difficult for him with Leslie. She is more like 20 year old mentally and didn’t have long term happy marriage like Garry and Theresa. It would be very difficult for him to live with Leslie despite of her trying the best she can.

@sunbox4700 I'm sorry dude but you have a poor understanding about women & relationships. Leslie is old enough to have the life experience you claim she misses. It is very easy to be taken in by a man who doesn't show his red flags ... abusers are frequently the nicest guy in the room until they're not in that room. Verbal abuse and controlling behaviors, dishonesty, can all creep in after the vows are spoken. Leslie has had to make the difficult choice that she is worth more than what an abusive or disrespectful man will acknowledge. Being cheated on is NEVER the spouse's fault, it's the cheaters fault. Not to mention we know nothing about Theresa's marriage. We don't know how healthy it was. Why didn't she work until after her hubby died? She wasn't an independent self sufficient woman till she had to be. Leslie has demonstrated that she followed her bliss, she followed her gift as an athletic individual. She has adventures rather than focus entirely on materialistic things so to me seems healthier psychologically, finding a balance. Leslie has honored herself. Theresa honored her husband. So from Garry's perspective Theresa might be the better choice for him, but Leslie might challenge him in ways he's never been before forcing him to grow as an individual in a balanced relationship vs one that ponders to patriarchy.

He's not going to move from Hoosierville, when all his friends and family are there. whatever façade he's presenting, make no mistake; he's stuck in his ways. Also, if I was either of those women, I would take that "car" for a test run and see if it still works. You don't want to spend your few precious remaining years with a "car" that malfunctions. He did say on the show, I think it was the first episode, when there was a segment showing me at his house on the lake, "I want someone to share this with" . There was more to it but it implied that whoever he chooses in the end would be moving there.

I think that alone kind of bonds them. I really didn’t like Theresa but if the two I think she is the better fit and yes, her saying she has never been with someone since her husband speaks volumes to the sentiment she has for her husband and marriage and how she sees relationships which I really respect. She threw herself into her work and is willing to give it up for a relationship with Gerry, I don’t believe Leslie is willing to slow down in the same way. I never thought I would say this but Theresa is likely the better pick.
