Such a beneficial and cheap option for palletizing/depal. We might be doing our first line tracking robot, It would be great to see a video on simple line tracking application. Maybe drop a part on an active moving Conveyor. I was meeting guys Fanuc southeast office, we were talking about how awesome your videos are

Great content Adam. I’ve not had a play with this software option yet but it looks great, Fanuc always seems to have an option for whatever you can think of. If you could fit it on your list I would love to see how you would setup a multi-robot cell. Specifically intelligent interference check or other cool ways to control zones. I’m familiar with Machine tending and using the DCS/space functions in single robot cells but I can imagine it’s very different considering the joint movement of adjacent robots. Keep up the great work!

Adam, I agree with the others this is a very beneficial video. I understand loading a machine from a pallet and how to create the program to unload the machine a palletize the parts, but I am not seeing how I could unload the parts on a pallet and load them onto another pallet. Is that possible to use the palletizing option?

Another really useful video Adam. Thanks. How would you reset the pallet counter say if you needed to stop half way through a run then start again?

Thanks Rob; I really should have mentioned this in the video, so I hope people read the comments :) I would have a simple "IF" statement in the MAIN loop, such that if a user wants to reset or start over they give you a DI[x]. Then, you just have add: instruction, Registers, ... = ... , then PL[x], then setup PL[1] = [i,j,k]. From there just type in PL[1] = [1,1,1] and it resets the array to know that the next move is to your first part. You could even use this to skip parts, rows, etc., and put in whatever array number you want to go to next.

Great tutorial!...Could you please make a tutorial on the first configurations of the Robot PMC option? The best is also with an example of a little LADDER program.

Great video Adam, when i saw your video i did order a robot with palette option but when i play with it i notice something , my goal is to palettize in 3 location , and change the user frame for each location , but the robot keep palletizing in location where it has been teach the first time . is like teach palletizing for user frame 1 , when i copy it to an other program that using user frame 2 , the robot keep palletizing using user frame 1 even the program at the top it start with user frame 2 . thank you

great video sir ! but how can i integrate a this as a functioin in tia portal ? i mean the majority of the industry control is going to be programmed with a software like tia rockwell .. so at the end of the day i-m going to integrate the robot motion as a function in tia portal right ?

Thank you! You are certainly correct that many users are working to setup positions, sequence, etc., outside of the FANUC Teach Pendant. There are several ways to be successful: 1) Program all the motion within the FANUC, and use PLC simply to start/stop. 2) Teach main locations in FANUC, but use PLC to send new positions, new offsets, and handle counters 3) Use PLC for everything and simply push positions to FANUC Any combination of this will work. However, in my (slightly biased) opinion.... just let the FANUC do what the FANUC does best, and use the PLC only for start/stop/reset ;)

Thank you for following! Typically when I connect RoboGuide to Allen Bradley I do not use OPC; I setup my virtual robot with EIP Adapter and then set the system variable $EIP_ENBL (It's something like that lol) to a "1". This lets RoboGuide use your PC's ethernet port to communicate outbound to other devices.
