She is crazy good! Yup...she's special! In this new modern era, it is people like you who are giving these wonderful stars a platform. It used to be you had to make it in America to be considered a star and for someone like her, or Dimash or Gabriel, it's difficult to break through. All we have to showcase new talent is AGT or the Voice and that's not enough. You reactors are the Ed Sullivan Show of today, introducing wonderful new talents. (Google Ed Sullivan!! Have you seen her original cover of this from a few years ago? Maybe that's why this performance felt so off for me (I knew how she was going to sing it, mostly)...I'm guessing it was nerves or something b/c she was pitchy in places I didn't expect...and the falsetto didn't seem to work in a few spots. Then I saw that someone had posted a video of her rehearsing before this performance and it was much better! Thankfully, looking back, she has been really great ever since this performance - I think she's gotten much more comfortable on that stage!
